commander or visionary...?
Commander.
I’ve found Myers-Briggs is clearest when viewed in correlation to the Enneagram. It unpacks the nuances the test addresses. Tritype quizzes are the most insightful.

what do you do when you in charge of a library, and 30 plus kids decide they all want to come in at once and be really noisy.
now some teachers start yelling and telling everyone off. and that works for about 5 seconds, then they leave and it just goes back to being noisy again. What would you do?
That's such a good question lol I am curious to see what Princesse is going to suggest. @Lanolin
thanks @Princesse. My library is fine during classtimes as Ive actually already been doing what you suggested but its just the lunchtime thing that some of my teachers are sabotaging because I created a new entrance way BUT they blocked it and said children had to use the other door and so they were in and out creating mayhem. coming in whenver they wanted and playing tiggy or hide and seek and not even reading
and then...they blamed ME for not controlling the children for being noisy..oh let them be noisy they are on break. Im like hello...this is a library and you just made it worse!
so Im just closing the library and only having those with passes come in. I hope this will work. Cos I had enough of teachers expecting me to babysit. I would love them to spend a whole lunch break in the library and see if they could handle it by themselves.
no.Do they have a separate room you could allow the students to use during their break?
no.
and the room that is off to the side of the library, one of the teachers has stashed her ipads and chromebooks in there and cant lock it, she doesnt want children going in there cos they might steal stuff(some stuff has already been stolen) . It wont fit in my lockable office and theres nowhere else to put them.
so that is really hampering the library atmosphere. arrgh. I have to think of something otherwise the children will drive each other (and me) nuts. they already yell at each other to be quiet in the library and half of them dont listen.
well this is a primary school, not a public library. if you are the only person there in a school of 310 and you dont know everyones names yet and one or two children are causing mayhem that you cant see as you are doing something else, then its difficult. you can tell them to leave but, some will just come back in again the next day. You’d have to set a rule that they’re welcome to use the library for free periods to do assignments, research, or reading. Given their behavior the limitations may be the best course.
Infractions should incur a warning and removal if the behavior continues. That’s how the public library operates.

Im thinking library passes would be better. it will reward the ones who are reading and be an incentive for those who want to read and have extra time.
