This is a very tricky and an important subject in Christianity that commands a deep explanation without which so many questions are very likely to crop up.
First of all, what we have to understand is that salvation has always been for ALL mankind whether in old or new covenant.Right from the fall, the basis of salvation has been the death of Jesus Christ, his blood covers the sins of old and New Testament saints, the requirement for salvation has always been faith, like the Bible says in Genesis 15:6 Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness,so the faith to the Old Testament people was in what Christ was to accomplish in the New Testament,The timely sacrificial system it’s self could not take away people’s sins but pointed to Christ’s ultimate sacrifice at the cross!
salvation is for those who believe. there is not a one for all plan.

one has to understand Israel were the chosen people of God in the old testament.

Deuteronomy 14
1Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Acts 3: 25Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Where are the Gentiles as opposted to the Jews

Ephesians 2: 11Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

they, the Jews had no idea Jesus would be crucified .... this also shocked satan.

Jesus open the curtain to the world for salvation.

The Jews will get the Kingdom,,.. King and Messiah.

Christians become the Body and Jesus is the Head.....................Read the previuos post for clarification.

Lev.17:11
The blood was the life of the flesh and the OT atonement was on the altar of animal sacrifice for their sins.

God always has a plan and leaves none that love him dry hanging.

The blood of Jesus was,is and will always be from his death the ONLY SACRIFICE for our sins!

You are exactly correct..... Jesus starts the Kingdom and command all to worship Him or suffer the plagues and die.

Jesus told Peter and the 12; "you will rule over the 12 tribes of Israel"

remember Jesus said "no one can come to the Father except by Me..... How can you accept Jesus if you don't know of Him.

This is the purpose of the Kingdom... to bring all worthy of salvation to come to worship Him and to know who and what He is.

Christians will be in the Body of Christ, He is the Head.
