I'll work on a riddle but if someone else wants to post one go right ahead!
LOL! Well, I supposed it was good I was accidently honest to write I was avoidably detained as opposed to unavoidably. I was distracted by good attention, and I didn't need to escape with riding an eagle.'avoidably' delayed?
Combined with 'like Gandalf' must mean there is a story behind it...?
alrighty let me give it a try ahem...
I have a well rounded figure, I sit alot, most useful when things get cluttered, not very heavy but, I can hold many items, you don't have to buy me but,wouldn't hurt to give me a companion to help me
If you don't have to buy it, then it must either be found in nature or be continually offered as a service in a public space - e.g. a trash can in a city/state park.
Otherwise, what am I not thinking about? What am I missing?
I am also uncertain about the 'companion' line.
So far, this one is proving to be an interesting challenge.

And, speaking of "helpful" companions - I think this first clue could really use a 'companion' clue to "help it out a bit"...

nope you don't have to rent it technically speaking they can be free same as the companion in certain areas
you are probably the closest so far to the answer, you got the rounded part right though they can be be square like when rather largeor bucket or barrel

thank you for pointing that out and he was correct, I just didn't look through his post well enough lol I honestly just woke up
and the companion was a recycling bin because at certain homes you can be provided both for free by the surrounding countyoops sorry didn't see your answer of garbage can, you are correct
