Sweet. I never knew she felt that way about me. :-)

"Did you ever know that I'm your hero?
I'm everything you would like to be!
You could fly higher than an eagle,
'Cause I was the wind beneath your wings. "

No, not Whitney Houston and neither Bette Midler nor you are the passwords I'm looking for. However, MY provided the next clue, That is, he offered the stanza that contains the password.

Ok, I'll accept that, because I Am is "my Hero," and He's the "You" in my song.
The great "I Am" was you're password, right? You have me wondering cause you wrote, "ok, I'll accept that". Is "I Am" not the password?

my "hero" was the password and the antecedent the "you" that Bette Midler's song is referring to. And I accepted the great "I Am" because He is, indeed, my hero.

Ugh, all this winning is exhausting!

What password is sometimes blue but never o.k.?

Battered wife?
nope , I've only heard of blue ones, not black and blue.
their blue is in regard to their color though they really have no blue pigment but their characteristic state of mind isn't so much blue as it is rather mean and terrible.

the "o.k." provides a clue as to what the password is even while saying what it is not.

well, they have some black coloring but aren't called after that...

I think leaving clues might be harder than guessing them!
