IMO it is wrong to take communion/break bread with leavened bread
The bread at hand for the Lord's Supper the night of his arrest was doubtless
unleavened because the 12th chapter of Exodus specifically requires it for
Passover.
However, I have yet to discover a specific set of rules like those of the 12th
of Exodus governing the bread used for the Lord's Supper. I'm not saying
there are no specific rules; I'm just saying I haven't discovered any yet.
Now; I would not be surprised if ordinary bread were acceptable for the
Lord's Supper because when the Word came into the world as the flesh of
John 1:14, he didn't come as divine flesh, rather, he came as ordinary
Jewish flesh (Rom 8:3) and it's the destruction of that ordinary flesh of his,
rather than his glorified flesh, that we commemorate by means of the Lord's
Supper.
