Personally I'm too lazy to try to write a book; I could probably get as far as just the first sentence, something like this-
"After a whirlwind romance during a Rhine cruise, widowed Betty marries a suave German Count and goes to live with him in his fairytale Bavarian castle.
However her world falls apart when she finds some old WW2 documents in a trunk in the attic that reveal he is in fact the notorious wanted war criminal Otto von Schlorter, alias the Prussian Butcher, the infamous commander of the SS Atrocity Squad"

HORROR-
"Jerry's wife Sheila went out for a night on the town with her girl pals, so he decided to have an early night and went to bed.
He was woken around midnight in the pitch black bedroom by someone silently getting in bed naked next to him and assumed it was Sheila. She seemed ice-cold so he hugged her to him to give her some body warmth, and went back to sleep.
He woke up again an hour later as he heard the front door downstairs close and his wife calling up to him "Honey I'm home".
Surprised, he found that the figure he was hugging in bed alongside him was still ice cold"...

Jerry didnt like that Sheila never wore pyjamas to bed and resolved to buy her some night attire next time he was at Costco.

My latest paperback was a true story about a guy who got bowel cancer at age 28, recovered and enrolled in medical school to become a doctor.
Unfortunately he got bullied by the senior doctors and never found out why he got cancer. But he wrote a book and became a psychiatrist...got married and had an IVF baby, so it was a happy ending.

Dropship wrote a romance novel to be presented to their children, they had a family of twelve so when the twelve children grew up they would know exactly how they came to be, instead of learning about it in school.
My latest paperback is in the genre true crime (as opposed to ....fake crime) and is called Busted!
Its about a Private Investigator and his various jobs.
Now I am reading the sequel called 'Busted Again'
Although the names have been changed, the locations havent so I am learning all sorts of things about my city that I didnt know...though I am kinda glad I didnt take up that Prison Library job.

Jane and Me is about growing up at Chawton, Jane Austens abode and how her fifth grand niece tried to run away from her legacy.
I have been thinking about Jane Austen and wonder what she would think about the present day Jane-mania though she was already super popular in her day that the Prince Regent had Emma dedicated to him, he was a fan.
Present day Jane knock offs are doing a roaring trade, like the Bridgerton series. I probably wouldnt last a day in one of those empire line corsets though. Although nobody mentions those ridiuclous wigs the men wore. Why?

I could picture myself being caught up in one of those christian cult communes. It would be paradise for the first couple of years until it all ends up going terribly wrong, when the leader of the commune starts to lose his mind or smokes some weed and it all falls apart as generally happens in hippie communes the world over.
Its possibly because they share bathrooms and see each other naked too much.

It would be paradise for the frist couple of years until it all ends up going terribly wrong, when the Landlord of the estate starts to lose his mind and gambles and goes bankrupt and it all falls apart as seems to generally happen in country estates the world over.
Its possibly because they share bed chambers and see each others jewellery too much.

I sense the echo of the iconoclastic Friedrich Nietzsche in this. Everything falls apart and and makes no sense. Maybe even a hint of Henrik Ibsen. The truth is ugly and there’s no way of hiding it. Finally it’s the anti fairytale. Nobody’s ever living happily ever after.
Theres an entire Scholastic paperback series for children or more specifically girls called 'Whatever After' .
Its mashed up fairtytales, which is a popular genre in itself.

Barbie has her own books too. She has a whole series of books that are career guidance manuals. Because some girls will only read books if the covers are bright pink.

I’d like to mash up some of the ideas the wind mill industry is using to entertain their so-called save the planet industry.
But real books cost trees, so how does that work?
Maybe the books should be made out of recycled plastic?
Satan is said to be in charge of mills. Thats why they are called 'Satanic Mills'. I was thinking about this as I was eating my toast, that was dropping crumbs everywhere. Why do we eat food thats been ground up into a powder? Flour in itself is pretty indedible, but its just ground up real fine by giant mills.
At least, when I eat rice, it doesnt drop crumbs everywhere.
The first book that I made was about my visit to an abbattoir. It was pretty gory. I splashed red ink on the pages just to make it more realistic.

Abattoir sounds nicer than slaughter house. Almost like a trottoir sounds way better than sidewalk. I think American English has some words that doesn’t sound good in literature. The French, and even the British, have books where you need a dictionary to read them.
