If she loses you as a friend because of her addiction she may need another friend to lean on a little bit.yes...why?
why would she lose me thoughIf she loses you as a friend because of her addiction she may need another friend to lean on a little bit.
I believe, from what you have posted thus far, that the smoking and vaping is a wedge issue driving you two apart.why would she lose me though
she knows where I live.
That is good to know.well shes the one smoking and vaping not me. So if she wants to smoke round the dustbin, Im not going to hang out there. I just wait till shes finished. That doesnt mean she cant hang out with me and NOT smoke.
In that instance perhaps you should social distance from her until the smoke clears. Oh, I'm not really a wise one.what do you suggest, oh wise one then?
When she asks if shes can go off for a vape, do we just say well NO. You cant. Or do we just hide so that when she comes back she cant find us?
My wife is a SDA. I have attended many Sabbath services. They love their bible and they love Jesus. Believe in the Trinity. Nice peeps. I love pizza - pepperoni, banana peppers, mushrooms, sausage. Good stuff.I gave her a houseplant (for fresh air) and a coluring book and pencils. All artists suffer for their art...you might as well make art out of it.
her other friend gave her a journal. We celebrated her birthday with pizza she only left once in the end to vape outside the restaurant.
we pray for her, she did tell us she was thinking of joining the 7th day adventists. Apparently they are very clean living.
No, they are not a cult. They don't follow a leader or anyone but rather follow the bible.they not a cult are they?
Its just that I think they may be a bit legalistic but for someone whos addicted maybe they DO need some rules.
thats a relief I hoped she wouldnt go joining a cult which one friend nearly did and it turned out to be a front for the Moonies. No, they are not a cult. They don't follow a leader or anyone but rather follow the bible.
Nah, the SDA is not a cult.thats a relief I hoped she wouldnt go joining a cult which one friend nearly did and it turned out to be a front for the Moonies.
I've had a lot of experience with the local Adventists...7th Day Adventists that is.I gave her a houseplant (for fresh air) and a coluring book and pencils. All artists suffer for their art...you might as well make art out of it.

Like the 7th Day Adventists, the Moonies like to conceal their name behind other things. It's often hard to find out what church is sponsoring or represented by their mailings and prophesy adds of the Adventists. . It sounds like you are familiar with the Moonies. I talked to them once and they wouldn't tell me who they were. Then they found out what I was interested in. "Oh BTW, we are having a class on self defense/ martial arts tonight. It's free, why don't you come join us?"thats a relief I hoped she wouldnt go joining a cult which one friend nearly did and it turned out to be a front for the Moonies.
