Thomas, Paul, and Peter are the Apostles and I am quoting them from the Bible!
Thomas used a common expression “my Lord my God” something Jesus didn’t instruct him to say. People still say “my Lord, my God” when they are surprised to this very day.
I’m not aware of Peter or Paul saying it. I think you showed me an example, but that isn’t very direct. Provided Paul and Peter referred to the Father as God, it’s safe to say when they “our God and Savior Jesus” they are speaking of two different persons of the Trinity.

Do you believe the Father is God of our Lord Jesus Christ like Paul, Peter, and Jesus did? This is possibly a salvation issue. The first commandment is you shall have no other Gods.

Yes I’ve been baptized in the name of the Farher, Son, and Holy Spirit. That’s also how I do water baptisms if I do them.
Jesus was sinless so Jesus was equal in that way. In other places, it’s clear there’s a hierarchy within the Trinity. Paul believed Jesus is not over God in authority and God the Father was the one who gave Jesus all of his doctrines to teach. The power Jesus used came from above. This is all in the gospels. Very difficult to miss. Please read them again.

It's the difference between literal and figurative or implied. There is no verse that says Jesus is God as you want to be convinced. But there are countless verses that mean that very thing. Every I am reference is Jesus claiming to be God. For example, Psalm 23. Every Jew assumed that the Shepherd was God the Father. When Jesus said He was the good Shepherd, He was claiming to be the Shepherd spoken of in Psalm 23.
Such understanding can only come through the Holy Spirit. Regardless of how diligently we endeavor in our own faculties, we will not arrive at an understanding of God. We can know Him as Creator, we can understand His providential care, we can understand things about Him, but we will never know the intimate things of God. Such things are given by God alone.

You talk but you don't answer my questions so your like my nosey neighbor in a lot of ways, last time she came around she knocked on my door trying to get me to sign a form for council to make changes at the park down the road, I said i could bring it back to her house when i had read through it she said no you can put in in my letterbox....I didnt fill out the form and she hasnt spoken to me since....
I kinda get where your coming from in on this point I talked a lot with you in the Jesus is God thread, I think cameron made some good points earlier, But is Jesus God is something i think everyone has to come to the conclusion themselves and cant be forced on them by anyone, If we put the standard on Thomas it wasn't until he touched and saw that he confessed that Jesus is God, and like I have shown you Jesus told him he has believed, But blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
So, many on this forum are blessed, But I think confessing Jesus is Lord is satisfactory for accepting someones confession or the church wouldn't be available to ones that are searching, Many that believed on Jesus didn't believe right away

So ill keep talking to myself kinda feels that way most of the time anyway @Runningman Im not saying you do but lets presume worst case scenario and say you said you don't believe Jesus is God, it wouldn't make you different than most people even a lot in the worldly church , But the problem arises If you don't believe in Jesus and you don't have him in your heart, you wouldn't be able to speak about him or his father, But you might as well say either way it doesn't change reality, But that's why i ask you if you have Jesus in you because you set yourself up as a teacher

Well, for me it’s simple. When Jesus asked who they say he is, Simon Peter answered. This should be our answer too:
Matthew 16
15“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Is that a satisfactory answer?
17Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
But when I repeat the same things as Simon Peter, people say I have a problem. Sorry, not buying it. This is the answer from heaven. Your answer, and others’ answer here, is found nowhere in the Bible. Make of it what you will.

Oh I love Jesus so much it brings me to tears sometimes. I don’t tell this story often, but I believe I’ve actually seen Jesus. The last time I shared something like that here I think someone proceeded to blaspheme God so I try not to say it too much. But I don’t mind sharing it with you since you seem cool.
Anyway, Peter maintained his testimony of Jesus from that point forward as far as I know:
