Perhaps meant to be encouraging but it does not work for me that way.
When a crisis hits, prepare for the worse doing so without fear, and hope for the best trusting in God's love for us. The outcome is ALWAYS God's decision. Trust His decision. He knows what He is doing.
A believer can "flake out" when they become "double minded." We cannot walk in the Spirit and the Flesh at the same time. Peter didn't sink till he took his eyes off of Yeshua/Jesus - that's when Peter flaked out. Yeshua/Jesus asked Peter, "Why did you doubt?"
Come on, we don't want Yeshua/Jesus asking us, "Why did you doubt? Why were you afraid?"
As believers, knowing and trusting God often happens in baby steps, but when a crisis hits even a mustard seed of faith can move a mountain. Stand in your faith in God. Even if we don't have a "prophetic word" or no one has prophesied to us, we can exercise our faith in God's Love for us.
