Low temperature and low humidity increases its life span which was similar to SARS.

The dried virus on smooth surfaces retained its viability for over 5 days at temperatures of 22–25°C and relative humidity of 40–50%, that is, typical air-conditioned environments. However, virus viability was rapidly lost (>3 log10) at higher temperatures and higher relative humidity (e.g., 38°C, and relative humidity of >95%).

this one-

I agree the media seems to have one function presently to sell itself, not news.

Having stated that Dr. Drew is being light on the fact that fatality do occur, even when the immune system is not compromised.. there have been deaths in all demographics except babies I think so far, there are always the one off deaths that occur... and this clip is a little old already.

Certainly is worrying that it can spread when a person has no symptoms and it will have a terrible economic toll for some.... but probably not for whoever makes the first vaccine.

When Toronto went through SARS a few years back the streets and restaurants were empty... it devastated local businesses.

Saw news today of a newborn survived without treatment.

That is very sad indeed.

I have not read about infant deaths in the stats ...of course in places like China and North Korea who know what is really going on.

that was good news to me, it was a newborn with the virus, it survived and was too young to be treated, it survived without treatment, thank you Jesus.

I misread .....yes that is good news for sure.

another way the enemy is deceiving us by way of that way too much information we get side tracked with today? I need to keep focused on Jesus.

Thanks friend! That is great info. Seems to me media is keeping people hyped up over a cold virus.

I’ve learned 80% of those effected don’t even have hardly any symptoms if any all, and 2% mortality rate which the lost of life is not good at any amount, but I don’t think the coronavirus is the sign of the end times, seems that idea is going around also now.

those are people whose symptoms are compromised, so this seems to be a glorified cold.

Excuse me, as I reread my last post i see it isn't clear. From the Dr. Drew video, this seems hyped up by the media, flu is still a bigger threat here. Those with compromised immune systems are at most risk, we just had a newborn (China?), born with it become well without medical intervention, appears the child's own immune system defeated it. There are indications it has run its course in China, if i read it right.

Our body can create antibodies to fight viruses for sure...our immune system... the problem is secondary bacterial infections that can overwhelm the immune system.

People typically die from pneumonia...whenever fluids are sitting still the body (lungs, sinus, ears) bacteria will grow there.

I was a little shocked at the amount in 2018 61,000 the most was 80,000 04 i think. from what I’ve read the first written account of the flu was Greece 410BC.

Globally the average mortality rate is 600,000 from the flu.
