Disowning your father means (a) you are lying and (b) you want nothing to do with him. You have broken off the relationship.

See, a child of God can't do that lol... because they know their Father will always be their Father. Even with our earthly fathers...it's impossible for you to stop believing he's your father... it's IMPOSSIBLE... unless you had brain damage and altimeters... but to choose to do it? You can't. Even if you try really, really hard, you can't stop believing. When you are GODS, you will ALWAYS be God's. There's no chance of ever turning back and 'un' believing.

Not believing in God is what atheists do, so it can be done.

yeah
unbelief is a trait of those who are not His children

nothing to do with disowning Him

everything to do with not knowing Him

even if they pretended for awhile

Well he is right in that context. How can you Un"son" yourself from your father? You can't. And God cannot "unseal" ANYTHING because then He would be a liar.

Show where that is written. I can show you where he has laid down conditions that if not met will result in a destiny identical with those who were never sealed..

Man's spirit, soul and body can all become defiled by sinful behavior.

Oh, since we are the temple of God, then God will let His temple be defiled? hmmm... New one on me. Of course WE, as sinners can sin, but hey, that's why Christ came, because He knew this :) It wasn't the law that was imperfect, it was US. So Christ took care of that. YAY JESUS!

yeah, we can NOT believe in oxygen all we wan't, but it's always there lol. Not really the best example to describe God, but the same effect. You CANNOT stop believing in Oxygen because you already believe in it and you KNOW it is there. Same with salvation and God

Believing in GOD doesn't mean anything. Muslims are some of the greatest believers in GOD. Keeping the faith is what saves.

Yeah even the devil believe... and having the faith to begin with is what saves, for that gives us grace, for without faith it's impossible to please God. Faith alone saves, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

not true

there is but one God

and the muslims do not believe in Him

also "keeping the faith" isnt what saves

we are saved by GRACE <- what saves

through faith <- a response (acceptance) to His call

we are kept by the power of God

not our own power

no matter how much you desire to place your salvation on your own shoulders

it wont change the fact

GOD saves

not men

oh silly word games from you again

the answer is "no....incorruptible means it is not corruptible.... "

A word that's used only 4 times in the NT to signify a crown, the resurrected body, our inheritance and GOD's seed that regenerates us. Nowhere are we called incorruptible.

For one, you can't KILL your heavenly Father. Two, He can't die.. so that relationship is NEVER BROKEN. Simple!
You are not seeing it. It is not about God, it is about you, and your spiritual suicide.

You don't get it... it's not about US, but GOD :) Has never been about us. When we make it about us, then it's not about God anymore, but about our own greatness... our own wonderfulness that we are so awesome and mighty and YAY I'm just so perfect in my flesh. YAY I don't sin like that person does... I'm so glad I'm not like that sinner over there.. why? Because I'm able to keep "myself" so good and holy and perfect, because I'm something special. So, I choose to entrust my complete spiritual well being in Christ.. Which btw, is what believe means in the Greek :)

Fact is.. I"m trash and my heart is deceitfully wicked. My righteousness is as a filthy rag.. so how can I ever expect that I can be so good to earn or keep my salvation? That's arrogance on my part if I believe that.

If anyone corrupts God’s temple, God will corrupt this one, for God’s temple is holy, which you are. 1 Corinthians 3:17
