If all else fails, get a Linux CD and boot from it. Then if you are lucky you can use it to access files using weird commands :p

It's time to try the restore function. If you have a search bar on the bottom of the screen type that word in to bring up the file. Set the restore option to yesterday. Should take about 15 minutes or so to go through its paces.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions lol.

Willie, I've tried to f8 option but nothing would happen, but your post has added info, so i will try it.

Wwjd, this linux cd you speak of... i could get one online, no?

How do i do this? The computer doesn't go beyond a screen that says i need to reboot.

Oh, I'm sorry! Thought that your computer was able to boot up. By the way, do you have anything in your CD Rom? If you do, then remove it. That would be another reason for getting a reboot message. Eject whatever is in your CD Rom out and then try rebooting again.

The comp didnt have anything in it. Lol

Boss decided to buy a new one. This comp is at least 6 yrs old lol.

Lol! Idk how many times throughout my 6 yrs of being here I've threaten to throw the comp out the window lol.

Well... the hardware stays more or less the same (unless you need fancy video cards or very much processing power),
so it depends mostly on the software I think. My computers tend to die after five years :p
