It is hard to keep up with which notifications I have already clicked on and viewed. Maybe there could be a way to leave the unchecked notifications a different color until they have been either reviewed or clicked on? Kind of like what Facebook does?

By "notifications" do you mean thread titles?

Are you talking about the notifications in the top right corner where tapping the bell icon shows the latest responses to threads you are watching?
