Anyone else jamming out to a radio stations 90's party New Years countdown?

Where were you in 1999 when the clock struck midnight and it became 2000?

Did the world end then like "they" said it would?

How many times did you hear the song "tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999" that night?

I can tell you exactly what I was doing. My dad made me stack firewood cuz he thought the world as we knew it was ending and chaos was going down and so he was GOING TO BE PREPARED!!!! So I stacked firewood. In the rain. And I asked him after nothing happened what his big plan was all about and all the firewood I stacked and he says "well, we have enough now, don't we."

Is that child abuse?

I remember that...wasn't that the big Y2K scare? Wonder what they would think if everything that is going on now was happening back then?

I think they thought the computers wouldn't revert from 1999 to 2000 and would revert back to 1900 instead and reset. And since computers didn't exist in in 1900 that everything would disappear.
