Out of the introduction of Hebrews, Amplified.

The date seems to point to the late sixties of the first century, before the fall of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. During this decadecthe fear of persecution was a grim reality for the church in Rome. Very likely this letter was addressed to JewishChristians in Palestine or in Rome, converts who were being tempted to revert to Judaism or to Judaize the Gospel.

IMO this letter was written by Apollos, the other leader Paul mentioned that people were disputing about following. It makes sense to me that God would have a writing included from him.

So reading then from the book with this in mind, we can understand what’s being said.

If one returns to living under law, there’s no sacrifice remaining to take away sin.

I think about the quest to build a temple now. And am concerned about an animal sacrifice.

That Phrase JESUS IS MY LORD is not a profession; it is REFERRING to a CONFESSION that comes from DEEP in the Human Spirit. If you have not surrendered out of AGAPE LOVE to HIM as LORD, meaning MASTER, it is only Profession.

Most people that say you can lose your Salvation, do not realize what they are saying. They are Counting Disciples that Never have been BORN AGAIN. Yes, Disciples ONLY MEANS FOLLOWERS, SAVED and UNSAVED; and does not me SAVED BORN AGAIN, who have Surrendered out of AGAPE LOVE to HIM and have a REAL personal, intimate relationship with HIM as LORD. Of course those who are Unsaved can fall away, but Never the ones who are Born Again.

Here is how we are SAVED, Rom. 10:9-10, and that term only applies to the HUMAN SPIRIT. Look at John 3:6 again.

SALVATION is of the Human Spirit, and takes place in the moment in time you Genuinely first Believed.

SANCTIFICATION of Human Flesh will take place during the whole lifetime of the Believer, and will not be complete til the Ressurrection.


Romans 10:9-10 (NASB)
9 that if you confess {not just profess it} with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart {Human Spirit} a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses,
resulting in salvation.


After WE are SAVED (Born Again) the Holy Spirit changes our new born Spirit to want to always LOVE HIM with AGAPE LOVE. Obedience is part of our AGAPE LOVE after we are Born Again; and never has been Part of SALVATION. Yes, that New Born Spirit has ETERNAL LIFE IN IT, and it is not ETERNAL if it can fall away. Their are Lots of VERSES that teach us that You Cannot Lose SALVATION, once you REALLY HAVE IT. Also remember JESUS Speaks to both SAVED Disciples and UNSAVED Disciples.

9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
