Not sure what you mean..when you say why is my post there? They call names and/or jeer. Take heart, Jesus was called name too. We are not alone.

If you read the Bible you will see Jesus refers to some people as tares. God forbid we follow his lead regarding such tares. Unless of course you deem someone who makes false accusations against the brethren not a tare. I’d love to see your biblical support regarding that. They call names and/or jeer. Take heart, Jesus was called name too. We are not alone.
Why is my post there?
You didn’t answer my question. Answer my question if you please.Show me where it say that reading the Bible strengthens intimacy with God. Shouldn’t theologians be the closest to God if that were true?
You know on the Not by Works - False ... who stated who were not going to argue with people and yet here you are arguing... and arguing![]()
I'm still trying to get simple yes or no answers to the most basic of Scriptures. It's only after we obtain the answers to the questions can the arguments begin! Yet these two refuse and have continued to refuse to answer the simple inquiries that we have made. You know on the Not by Works - False ... who stated who were not going to argue with people and yet here you are arguing... and arguing![]()

@jackrosie ...
I have to agree here with @EleventhHour ...
I myself when you first came to this site told you how I thought you where full of our Lord , and that after you said you have been walking with Him for 28 years , I told you that you inspired me...
But as the days pass , I have seen you waver from saying you believe in OSAS to now you believe in a poster known as @Judges1318 who believes we can lose Salvation , yes , this is called unsteady and wavering , and also I have seen you arguing a lot without giving evidence against those you are accusing...
I am only stating what I have witnessed these past days...
...xox...
You’re above words explain to me why you come off as having a callous heart. There is nothing strengthens your relationship with God like obeying his instructions to you.
And I’m not the only one arguing...or have you missed that?
You are only responsible for your own behaviour... you are free by choice to stop at any point.
Myself, I think you are willing to adjust your "doctrine" to align yourself with people who are supporting you on a personal level.
We are called to stand firm on the Truth.. not abandon Truth based on how friendly someone is towards us.
I suppose writng the above makes you feel superior. I have no idea why you think obeying God, like doing what your Father wants you to do, as a way to find closeness to him annoys you such that you find saying so callous. It is quite strange. Jesus said this is what brings the Father to dwell in us. Was he callous as well? That I think the same as Jesus taught on this matter, is that difficult for you? Maybe the expression "Nothing like" troubles you. Maybe you think that is the same as "Nothing but" which it is not. You’re above words explain to me why you come off as having a callous heart.
If you don’t think praying, reading scripture, meditating, and lest we forget, making a joyful noise to the Lord doesn’t strengthen your relationship with God in a profound manner then I pity you.
For me, it’s not either/or, it’s all of the above that strengthens my relationship with God.
For heavens sake..give it a break....I am not willing to do any such thing.
I am born again..I can’t become unborn...
No one comes before God..I stand on his truth that he has revealed to me...works did not save me....
I can relate very much to your teaching Judges.....if I have any questions I will be asking you..
Well once again you have switched...
Remember this.....

There is nothing strengthens your relationship with God like obeying his instructions to you. God shows you your wrong choices and you do as He asks about it, there is a closeness that no Bible study will produce. God asks you to do something for someone and you do it (even though you don’t want to) there is a grace that comes to you and a closeness to Him.
And?.......so what I have switched....
The "unborn" argument is a word Play. That which is Born can die. The dead do not become undead. Does that mean there is no resurrection because the word "undead" does not exist same as "unborn" does not exist? The word is die. That which is Born can die. The seed of faith that sprouts from the Word of God can die. Jesus said how as well. Do not fall for the OSAS team making up words that do not exist and because the word does not exist, the concept does not exist. The case against OSAS is very strong. IT was not a theology that Jesus or the early church knew of and taught a great deal to believers to take care they do not fall away. No one taught they weren't to worry as they cannot fall away.I guess for me my intimacy comes from
That is fine..but you fail to mention that other members are also arguing...or did you miss their posts?
Whether I am wavering about OSAS...there is no shame in it...I am unsure.
On another note...I am born again how can I become unborn...I can’t...maybe I am listening to the wrong people...God will reveal his time his strength.
The fact that you cannot see is speaks volumes!!

If you are on the fency about OSAS, consider the kinds of posts those who believe this write you and what they say to you about you and see if you want to become like them. REmember, the teaching that you are going to Heaven no matter what evil you do to anyone does not bear good fruit. It means you can just "let -er rip" when you feel angry and are under no obligation to treat others as you would like to be treated. Your ticket to Heaven is secure no matter what. Surely the fruit of this is clear.Whose to say I can’t see...maybe the light bulb just came on...Praise God.
