All sorts of discussions arise as a result of this thread.

We have even had people on this thread who proclaim to never have sinned since they became a Christian.
It blows my mind how anyone could actually believe they have lived a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life (exactly as Jesus lived) 100% of the time since they became a Christian. o_O

Such people are suffering from a terminal case of self righteousness. (1 John 1:8-10) :cautious:

Exodus 33:11
Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.

Deuteronomy 34:10
Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

Deuteronomy 5:4
The Lord spoke to you face to face at the mountain from the midst of the fire,

Genesis 32:30
So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said, “I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been preserved.”

Numbers 14:14
and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, O Lord, are in the midst of this people, for You, O Lord, are seen eye to eye, while Your cloud stands over them; and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

Judges 6:22
When Gideon saw that he was the angel of the Lord, he said, “Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.”

Ezekiel 20:35
and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.
Thank you for the effort. I was going to replying the same way but I decided not to waste the effort on these two.

I worked with one. They define sin differently.

Once we are born again....we belong to God...we develop a relationship with him....
Name the false teachers that are here on CC and state their specific heresies using Scripture to support your claims.

Are you trying to get me banned..quite a few on here who twist scripture to suit their agenda.

In one week you went from agreeing with eternal security to now believing salvation is not secure.................... and did you really search

the scriptures like a good Berean... or you just believe our resident false teacher?

None of your business what I search...and I certainly don’t answer to you.

We have demonstrated that you believe the Gods Word is a lie. Over and over and over again. Ipso facto, you believe God is a liar!

Are you trying to get a reaction...God knows me better than you......talk to the hand.

I often weave it into my words to test who knows scripture or whose thinking matches it. It’s pretty interesting when a member disagrees with a verbatim quote cause they thought I said it when actually Jesus did.
Test people with Scripture? Okay here is a test. Who led the conquest of Canaan?

Josh 5:13,14
Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us or for our adversaries?"
So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
The Commander of the LORD’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

And how is the foregoing related to this verse?

Gen 15:16
After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.”
