Yes The BDAG, "A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature" is recognized as the go to for Greek lexicons.
I’ve offered several biblical responses refuting his position in this thread recently. You’ve not addressed them, nor has he. You’ve merely pounced on a later post of mine, avoiding other posts in order to make a pretense of victory.
Neither of you false teachers have addressed my posts which biblically dismantle your positions. I invite both of you to find them with their many biblical references and attempt to do so. I rest on those biblical truths of which both of you have avoided answer.
Furthermore neither of you have implemented exegetical and contextually accurate biblical arguments, yet at the same time you both claim victory without ever doing so. You just do not address Scripture.
Then there is the fact of both of you appealing to having higher understanding above others. That is Gnostic, and both of you have false gospels as they did. But it’s just like your false gospel, it all points to you, not contextual Scripture, not Christ, you.

I use the experience I'm having in Christ to recognize the best truths In today's world of information.
The reason I try to highlight "a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender" is things happened as a result of that surrender. I can't use those secret things that happen in the personal relationship to persuade others. But it is a big help with discernment with things like understanding teachers, lexicons, dictionarys, etc.
Without living the actual experience in Christ, I wouldn't be here talking with you about it , and would have to rely on others recommendations for understanding.
Oh, but there is. 1 John 5:13 is just one example which dismantles your false gospel. But you don't happen to believe the gospel.
You’re certainly under pretense, and of course you would avoid biblical responses. Why? You have zero answers for biblical truths. But of course you find my posts insulting just like Pharisees found Christ’s responses insulting. All false teachers feel that way, yet none of them ever addressed the Biblical truths presented them. Instead they attack the character of the one giving these truths. That describes you perfectly.
@lightbearer . I’ve appealed to you to address my biblical refutations yet you’ve only addressed what you feel about me, and have only offered insults. When or if you address my biblical responses I’ll address them. Your insulting posts and avoidances? Not going to address them as all they do is show who you are without addressing truth.

I would stay away from the Gospel of John if I may suggest. He used the word pisteuo the most, over 90 times. All 90 mistranslations! You have enough work ahead of you.
But what about our Stanford professor?
Are you asserting he was wrong...
If you are taking about Stanford University, in CA., they are a real Liberal University, and I would not believe anything coming from their Professors.
