When it come to Paul's gospel of grace alone, of course.
Our main disagreement comes from whether it was the same gospel before Paul was saved, and after the body of Christ is raptured.
I would say this, people rarely change their mind about what they believe in. The moment someone cares enough to actually type their doctrine in forums like these, their views are already very strong.
For me, I try to understand their perspective and be cordial to them. No need to be so anxious to "change their minds"

If yout ideas are not received it is not from lack of understanding as you claim...but because it is not supported by scripture.
People are allowed to disagree with you does not mean you have to bash the thread
I am not bashing this thread, just trying to empathize with how he must have felt.
From our own point of view, whenever we disagree with someone, we tend to think their view "is the one that is not supported by scripture", but ours is what the scripture plainly says

I have, because I read books about the Bible more then I read the Bible
I can tell you the more you stand in Biblical truth that better able you are to discern more truth...so yes it is important to try to persuade others

Maybe so.... but that is to be expected in certain areas .... but surely the Bible is clear salvation is eternal, is secure and cannot be earned

I didn't care that p4t was agreeing with anyone. He just wanted to lie and play victim like a far left lgbt oppressed olympics liberal.
I also don't care who he corrects.
But he was objectively wrong and lying about people over and over... literally fabricating entire story lines. I have only seen this sort of behavior from children and druggies. It really confused me.
Then in atleast 7 posts where his lies were exposed, him and his dishonest friend sack would just ignore any sort of correction and then act as if others aren't being Christian because they dont say sorry and accept the false accusations he makes against them.
Disgusting behavior and far from God.

Me and many people here disagree and are very calm. Some of us even joke about it. I however have trouble acting polite to someone lying about me and taking any word I say and giving it another meaning.

Long ago on a previous account I have had p4t message me and even ask me to be a character witness. I did it for him.
Everytime I saw him start a fight with bill or eg or anyone I would try to chime in that we are family in Christ and it really hurt me to see my elder brothers argue.
I wont assume he sent a message like that to sack.
But sack agreeing with outright lies against me hurt because I used to respect his opinion as well.
@preacher4truth has done this to me in both of our last encounters and refused to admit it. Also expects apologies from others for the lies he makes up himself.
Last time I took his false accusations on the chin and calmly told him I love him as my brother and explained maybe 7 times how he was not correct about these assumptions and claims he is making against me.
This time I dodged his weak attempts and told him to stop making up stories and throwing hissy fits.
So he threw a hissy fit and kept making up stories.
...anyways.... when we all stand before God I have a clean heart in this area in regards to the HONESTY of my words (maybe not the maturity in a few spots) but all of them were HONEST

Not making any assumptions either...just find it curious
Anyone who goes back and reads can plainly see you were wronged and the false accusations
Sadly I doubt there will be any retraction or apology....not fun when things are not able to be resolved
I'm not taking sides here when I say this, but I want to say to you that if you continue in Christ and don't fall away the day will come when you find that you can just walk away from unresolvable conflicts like this because the peace of God in you is more valuable than being right. Because most of the time you can't have both.
