So my knowledge on dispensationalist arguments is somewhat lacking here, is there a reason we don't bring up Abraham sleeping through the cutting of the covenant under the law?

We have before,

it showed it was an unconditional covenant, God did not make abraham roomies to do one part, he said I will, it was on God, not abraham
