Like @mailmandan said above...you don't know what you are talking about......the best thing you could do....leave....take about 5 years, ditch all the error, start over with biblical salvation, actually trust Jesus by faith, then have a confident expectation of the resurrection (BIBLE'S HOPE) and then quit peddling the drivel that you currently peddle like a street organ player with a dancing monkey in Calcutta for coin.......you really have no understanding of the word hope and what it actually means biblically......amongst other truths that you do not understand I might add!

Is this living hope also for the salvation that is ready to be revealed:

1 Pet 1:3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Eternal life is something we presently possess and it fills us with hope, meaning we do not live this life in despair because we know better things are yet to come.

That's exactly what i did with OSAS when i found out how far removed it is from the truth.
Now you can prove your case and be shown how false it is.

Jesus is our Salvation , we are in Him remember...
And when He returns to collect the Hos children still standing , we will be with Him , how amazing is our Living Hope for those who are IN Christ...

Amen......the word hope means a confident expectation of something guaranteed.....he is lookong at it from a worldly lost state with eyes shut.......the context is the resurrection/change.......NOT SALVATION......and expectation is GUARANTEED..........a man void of truth CANNOT possibly grasp the truth.....such is this particular case!

And i don't think Paul is talking about worldly hope here, is he?

Make no mistake....you have disproven nothing......Eternal security IS in the bible and it is based upon JESUS, HIS WORK, HIS PROMISES, HIS POWER......the reason you cannot see it is because YOUR GOSPEL has no power to save.....think on that pal.....what you peddle is not of God and you will pay the price in the last day!

Correct.

But who in the world has a confident expectation for what they already have?

Rom 8: 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

This is what pisteuo is, what true saving Faith is. The English language doesn't have a word to translate all three aspects of pisteuo. Belief is only one third of pisteuo. Taken on it's own is error.

The English language should have had the words faithe,faither, and faithing for the translators.

Of course, this is specifically an erroneous meaning of pisteuo. It takes only a simple faith, to trust in Jesus. Only trust him, only trust him, my friend.

Only trust him, only trust him,
only trust him now.
He will save you, he will save you,
he will save you now.

I'm not out to disprove anything but i know what i'm talking about and i'm ready to pay the price in the last day; that's how confident i am (1 John 4:17). Are you ready yourself?
