The regeneration happens when the son of man sits on the throne of his glory.

this verse is not talking about spiritual regeneration.

There is no such thing as spiritual regeneration. That regeneration is talking about the same regeneration as Titus.

Tit 3:4 (KJV) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 (KJV) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior

The kindness and love of God toward man appeared. Skip the next part because that part is written hide the meaning of the passage.

So to understand the passage it should be read as follows.

The kindness and love of God toward man appeared by (because of) the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost.

That kindness and love of God was shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.

That isn’t salvation, it’s how the love of God is manifest to is.

The fifth verse says “saved us”. So this passage is about salvation, bro. It says He saved us BY the easing of regeneration etc that means that these were means of God saving us

So when GB9 says that we are not instantly regenerated upon faith, he is in effect saying that we are not saved instantly upon faith. Because regeneration is on of the means by which God saves Titus 3:5

And then @dcontroversal, @eternally-gratefull and @Lightskin agree with him that what I said about regeneration is a works based salvation

Read Titus 3:5. Do you see where it says”He saved us by the washing of regeneration? Not only does regeneration happen at the same time we are saved, it is also one of the means by which God saved us.

So if you don’t believe one is regenerated the instant they believe, you don’t believe a person is SAVED the instant they believe

just wanted to post it for all to see, I will be responding to no one, just wanted to lay down some facts

in 1988, john macarthur defined lordship salvation as " salvation is defined by what it produces, and what it will not fail to produce"
so, it seems as if lordship salvation says that a saved person will be doing good works, and sinning less, which I 100% agree with.

what I do not agree with is when it said that salvation will produce INSTANT good works, or instant change of behavior.
change, yes instant. sometimes, yes, sometimes not outwardly eveident.

if you look at the definition of the greek word believe, it states it as a mental activity. so, one believes onto salvation, then the process of sanctification begins, and looks different for everyone. lordship salvation, if you study it's teachings, say otherwise.

so, all can research this, see what the Bible says, and come to a conclusion.

Why would I ask you that? Regeneration has nothing to do with salvation.

And you hath He quickened, that were dead in trespasses and sins, wherein, in times past ye walked, according to the course of this world, and after the prince that ruleth in the air, even the spirit, that now worketh in the children of disobedience, among whom we also had our conversation in time past in the lusts of our flesh, in fulfilling the will of the flesh, and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, as well as others.​
