I was talking to my daughter recently.
As a couple love and openness has been our direction in the family, to adjust everything to the needs
of the kids as they arise and as we are capable. We kept stress down to the minimum, with helping them
explore their interests and social contacts.
Over the years we hear of their friends parents marriages fall apart, a few dying, brothers and sisters
not talking or caring for each other, and real deep pain. We plod on loving caring supporting, praying
worshipping and witnessing to the Lord.
And my daughter says she cannot believe how loving and caring all three kids are, and puts this down
to their mother. And my wife is a gift of God, and is so attentive it is difficult to wonder where she gets
this focus, except the Lord works wonders. We are not rich, we are not successful, we have no great
victories or things to our name, yet we are rich in Christ and His work in our hearts.
You do not know the power of knowing you are loved, when all about others seem lost, and the pressure
is just too much, a place you can snuggle and find rest. And this place above all things is Jesus, our Lord
and Saviour. It is His love we have that we share, it is His example and His healing that makes this all
possible. Sow to the Spirit, reap eternal life, the ways of the Kingdom and the power of God, Amen.

Faith comes from hearing....So first there is the Word that you hear, from hearing that word comes the gift of faith, then belief as you fall in love with the Word and all the knowledge and wisdom of God, then you are baptized for the outward action of that professed belief, you are made a new creature with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit a new nature changed from within and with that comes , a promised salvation, you are now justified and made righteous through the Blood shed for the remission of sins, you are washed clean and sanctified and set on the mission to go teach and baptize.
Probably got it all wrong, but you can best be sure it will be corrected and this slow ripping off of the band aid will end.

Are you an upgraded spirit, an immortal?
What does it feel like to be perfect, pure and holy without the flesh to take responsibility for?
Or am I wrong. You need to walk the path, stay in Christ to know His life and fulfilment, to have
love working and moulding everything one is. Or maybe it is both, so one can claim the fulfilment
of scripture while being safe in immortality?
I am just a saint, a redeemed sinner whose journey if to follow Jesus and learn the ways of love
along the way. It is the only way I know, and the only message I have heard, maybe the shot cut
upgraded spirit is so much better, maybe you could tell me more?
