Faith in Jesus Christ and the grace afforded through faith is the only thing that matters. Works are the fruits that come forth when one rejoices in the Lord and the free, irrevocable gift of salvation He gives to those who believe and trust Him. Such works are produced, not to maintain one’s salvation, but rather are produced from the heart in a manner glorifying to God as a gesture of thanksgiving. And if someone believes and does not perform works, they have salvation as well.

Philipians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Got to laugh.
When did this change of heart to righteous walking happen?
When everyone who suggests righteous walking is the way of Jesus is called a worker for or salvation loser,
it makes one a little cynical that anything has actually shifted, except for the window dressing.

It is like the pharisees being baptised by John and being called out as to show the fruit of repentance:):):)
before anyone could take them seriously.

But some do repent and walk in Jesus's ways, it is just hard to swallow at the present time :):):):):)

Jesus salvation is written in the lambs book of life, and if you are there you are heaven bound,
if not to the lake of fire you go. Now that sounds irrevocable.

Problem is God blots people out, so until the day comes, things are not certain.

Hi smooth,

There is a problem here. What you judge as biblically incorrect needs to be presented fairly,
as I would equally hope to do. Just assuming individuals are taking a certain position and intent
does no one any good. It is like walking down a road and starting to shoot at others before they
have even said "Hello".

What you are unaware of is most positions I agree with in certain aspects, so when you think I am
polarised, I know you will be mistaken. And that stops fellowship, sharing, growth, encouragement.

Our small exchanges tells me though, you do not like certain exchanges, and want to set a different
tone, of putting other right. But that is your privilege, I am here with my approach.
And what I know, is like a light I will still shine, as long as it is day, and Praise Jesus for His grace to
my heart and my brothers and sisters in Christ, Amen

Yes scared my friend. The truth will always come out in the light. And this place is harsh, though
it is where Jesus stands and His people. And I am scared, because I know how dangerous for sinners
such a place is. No where to hide.

You say I am self righteous. I am only righteous because Jesus has made me like this through His
atoneing sacrifice and forgiveness and my repentance of my sin, no matter how specific and struggling
I am. I am a wretched man upon whom God has reigned His grace and blessings. Whatever I am I am
nothing compared to the cross and the shedding of His blood that we might live. Glory be to Him, Amen.

Did Judas lose his salvation? Satan was once the full pattern of God till iniquity was found in him. He is sentenced to the lake of fire, that man of lawlessness.

He is someone that likes to pass off his opinions and interpretation of scripture as "truth" or "facts". His point c is an example. :)

Thus, when you disagree with his "opinion", he often launch into a barrage of name calling.

Yap Noose, to the whole world Christ died. He died for you and me, the difference Noose is only those who believe(trust/ accept) on him will have eternal life. So simple and plain, if one don't trust Christ is the only way and have other way then that is a wrong way. Jesus says, I am the way John 14:6.

The point is You put obedience while fredo put believing. The Bible is clear John 3:16

John 3:16ForFor God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life"

I don't know, does it? That is how I was taught along with some anointing oil and a communion, so far no problems. I am open to what verses may be better. I would say "behind" but he is already there.

2. tasted of the heavenly gift
3. partakers of the Holy Spirit
4. have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come
5. be renewed.

If that isn't a description of a Christian, a saved Christian, no one is. IN MY OPINION ONLY
But what is should do is cause those who are and remain Christians to lay off trying to make us feel like we are going against God. Do we ever call out how ignorant we think it is to believe that the Creator of the universe an who is going to have a lake of fire right there, A God who opened up the earth and swallowed people whole because of what they wanted, is going to look at the guy who is standing there poking him in the eye and say "it is going to be great to spend eternity with you. This knowing He just spent the last approx. 13-15 thousand years going through all this and now He is am taking this rebellious hate Him, hateful, following satan doing his works, which is worse than putting Him last, person, because one day he really meant it and he got baptized and was sincere for a minute. No, we never say things like this. That does not come from a place of love. And though we mess up, we repent, ask forgiveness and are forgiven through the blood of our Lord and Savior. But we don't do it continually because that would not make the spirit within me happy. I call it righteous indignation, D***A**
