What matters has never been who is saying or sharing, it is always what is being shared.
We are to learn from Jesus, to listen and follow Him.

Our calling has always been to be sure we know we are doing Gods will and following His
ways. It is our fellowship in Jesus that makes us one. Amen
 
We are sinners who have been purified and cleansed, made righteous through His grace.

Elijah was a righteous man. In Christ, we are righteous, holy, pure, redeemed people. As Paul declares

12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with

13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one
another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Those who do believe in cleansing and purification do not believe in the cross or the risen Son of God.
Praise God He has called us to be slaves to righteousness, overcomers.

That is why God took on the image of man and was crucified in the flesh.

You make a good point, which is why context is important.
God listens to repentant sinners, God listens to the oppressed and those down trodden by evil
people, no matter there spiritual condition.

22 Do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan.
23 If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry.
24 My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.
Exodus 22

15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my eyes from you;
even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood;
16 wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong,
17 learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless,
plead the case of the widow.

God hears the repentant, He see all but will not hear the prayers of sinners who refuse to
do good, and lead to the death of many.

Except the thread is about how ONE gets saved (by grace through faith with no strings attached) not the result of salvation <--eternal life sustained and maintained by JESUS.... ;)

People slandered Paul with the same objection.....

He was not very pleased with them, you know why? I can tell you why.

People who state that grace of God is a license to sin are in essence saying that a person can do bad and good will still come, this is perverted logic and comes from the heart of unbelief, and a desperate attempt to prove self-worthiness.

If God eliminates righteousness in every way as a basis for salvation one argues that it makes no difference how a person lives, but this is a perversion of truth....... to preach grace is not to sanction sin it is to settle one's trust in a Saviour!!!

Paul had stern words for those who preach against the Gospel of Grace............................

Romans 3:8, ESV: "And why not do evil that good may come?—as some people slanderously charge us with saying. Their condemnation is just." ...

Romans 3:8, NLT: "And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, 'The more we sin, the better it is!' Those who say such things deserve to be condemned."

But people here do teach that a Christian can sin all they want and be saved.

It is one thing to focus on the threat of losing salvation (which I never do), and quite another to say " a Christian can sin all they want and still be saved"

I would add sinning and unbelief, and still be saved. Jesus prayed that Peter would not lose faith
when he denied Jesus, so keeping faith is everything.

7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.
8 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Cor 1

8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe
in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Concerning this salvation......
15 just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;
16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

The Bible says, those who sin all they want are not saved. I know that this may sounds viciously condemning, but still, we can still try to help them out, help them toward the right direction, help them wean from sin.

Faith in what is unseen is difficult, and that is also why I would also encourage others to read my testimony

And also, for those who have abstained from sin for a relatively long time, stay abstained, keep the desire sufficiently mortified

Else, if deciding to sin even once, the desire to sin again will come alive and you will regret ruining the progress of purity (if you see it as a progress)

But still, once saved is always saved, for the same reason that once you hate sin, you will always hate sin

Or, am I wrong about "once you hate sin, you will always hate sin"?

I find it interesting that unregenerated people who want/desire sin are typically socio-paths or people with damaged psyche/soul, so all of sudden now, believers who are regenerated become socio-paths wanting to sin??

Scripture is clear the believer is justified, this is a judicial decree by God

If people want/pursue sin after being justified I would remind them who they are in Christ because obviously they need better instruction

I know you ascribe being regenerated as a "behaviour modification program" I do not

I think the better question is how will God deal with a regenerated person who persists in sin, I think scripture can tell us much about this

I find it a very sad statement (not stating you made this statement) when people state "oh they were never saved to begin with" based on someone's outward performance....very sad indeed!!

I have asked this of others (with no response) but I will ask you nonetheless.

Who on here teaches that we can sin all we want and still be saved?
I noticed FHS gave you a winner, so maybe he can respond as well.

Who on this thread teaches/preaches that we can sin all we want and still be saved?
