But the key is admitting when you erred. Failure to admit you erred is walking in darkness. Is this judging you? NO it is stating a general spiritual principle
Does the statement you posted that fruit is proof of "genuine" salvation apply to me?
But the key is admitting when you erred. Failure to admit you erred is walking in darkness. Is this judging you? NO it is stating a general spiritual principle
Does that statement apply to individuals or only crowds of faceless people?
Does the statement you posted that fruit is proof of "genuine" salvation apply to me?
It applies to everyone. That is what general means. IT is not inspecting anyone, it is stating a general principle. Sometimes when you state a general biblical principle, people take it personally, because it hits home. But there was no fruit inspection in what I said. Quoting the bible is not fruit inspection. You are like a person who hears a person speaking on a particular topic, who thinks, "that person's judging me", even though the comments are not directed at them.
A scriptural principle will have individual application otherwise it serves no purpose and therefore not a principle.
Then the statement does indeed apply to me as an individual.
So, it's you who has erred.
I await your apology.
“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then THEY WILL GO AWAY TO ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, BUT THE RIGHTEOUS TO ETERNAL LIFE.” Matthew 25:40-46Exactly....many if not most flat read right over or sweep under the table....SHOW ME YOUR FAITH <---the benefit of works is for MAN NOT GOD!!
Wow, you people are DESPERATE. SO I can never say lying is a sin, adultery is a sin, unbelief is a sin, people who don't believe on Jesus perish, etc. because then I am judging people. Congradulations, you just subverted Christianity.
If I apologize to you, then I have to apologize to everyone who I ever told that Jesus is the ONLY Way to the Father. Some of them think I'm judging them too.;
You and several others lied and it shows that you are not humble enough to admit it.
Good night

Tell it to the Judge. All my sins have been paid for, Argueless.
Case closed.

Have you?
Yep. That's the standard. Problem is, we don't always live up to it.
A scriptural principle will have individual application otherwise it serves no purpose and therefore not a principle.
I do not see the analogy here. Inspecting fruit and defining sin two different principles.
A scriptural principle will have individual application otherwise it serves no purpose and therefore not a principle.
Yeah. You said goodnight once before.
You need to apologize for saying you didn't judge anyone personally, but you certainly did when you said the statement applies to individuals.
Of which I am one.
