Do you really think that the message that saves is about not repenting of sins but believing Jesus' blood cleans you of sins you don't even know you do?!

We have to confess our sins with our mouth and repent of them.

Confessing our sins is like a dog chasing it's tail. Never ending. Have you ever tried actually to do this? All your thinking is on sin and not righteousness then.

It's the nature of sin that God deals with in our life. He changes it. We then are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Doesn't mean we are perfect, but are being perfected as we "see" Him. We become like Him when we see Him as He is. Then we may kneel before Him in repentance. But, He lifts us up for His will is to declare His works, not ours. Good or bad. That's the wrong tree.

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

No works involved. All provided by God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Amen Star.....only problem....HE PEDDLES one must become a child first BEFORE THEY GET THE GIFT........very corrupt false belief....

So Jesus says confess your sins, but you say, "No, Jesus, it is like a dog chasing its tail."

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 14:11

It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.’”

Psalm 32:5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD." And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Proverbs 28:13 Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

Matthew 3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

Acts 19:18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and showed their deeds.

James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.

Acts 19:19 And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books and burned them in front of everyone. When the value of the books was calculated, it came to fifty thousand drachmas.

that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Revelation 9:20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Furthermore, they did not repent of their murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft.

Revelation 16:11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

Revelation 16:10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony because of their sufferings and because of their sores, but nevertheless they still refused to repent of their deeds.

I didn't leave it out YTG. As we see Him, we will see our failures. We don't judge ourselves in one way. Holy Spirit shines His light on our hearts and shows us error. It's in the scriptures and Paul said it. Just can't say where right now.

But, sin comes from a fallen nature. That's what God deals with in the beginning. Not us sitting and confessin every individual sin we ever committed. Even our thoughts are fallen. Have you ever tried to bring up all your fallen thoughts?

This is not what we are any longer. We may sin in the day that we are living in, for we only have one day at a time anyway, and then we confess. But, it's not a requirement to confess all sins to be born again.

My new birth was the response, Lord I'll go Your way even if others don't. And I was instantly changed.

You confess and repent of bad thoughts!

I know...Where does their assurance come from ? Where is their security in Christ ?
It is heart breaking , I am so happy Jesus warned us about false teachers etc , Jesus lives in us , we abide in Him , and nothing shall seperate us from the love of God...Amen...xox...

I love watching your transformation....you have come a long way Rose.....keep swinging sis....the enemy of the cross is rank and file deep

You don't even get to be a family member and friend if you don't obey!

Luke 11:28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."

Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
You cant be a member because you can’t obey, You have to be ADOPTED AFTER you are SAVED

All children obey, Not to be children, but because THEY ARE CHILDEN.

Your pride is deep. And is your downfall.

You got that right sister.....Jesus said the number with be plenteous <--many.......our new resident peddler of works, command keeping and law obeying by his own words will be one of..........Have we not done Lord

I'm hoping the Word in spirit and truth changes things. He only reads the scriptures in English, doesn't search out to know meanings. A foolish thing to do IMO, especially when we have been given so many ways now to search.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Notice that - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (vs. 9) is IN CONTRAST TO - If we say that we have no sin, (present tense) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (vs. 8) and - If we say that we have not sinned, (past tense) we make him a liar, and his word is not in us (vs. 10).

Certain people misunderstand 1 John 1:9 to mean that we must confess each and every sin that we commit as we commit them (keep a specific inventory) as an "additional requirement" to "remain cleansed" and "if we forget a sin we are toast!"

Genuine believers speak the same/acknowledge/agree with God's perspective about their sins and have a settled recognition and ongoing acknowledgment that one is a sinner in need of cleansing and forgiveness.

They could have converted!
Yep. But by faith.. Thats what Paul was telling them. Just like he did titus

It is not by our RIGHTIOUS DEEDS we were saved, It was by GODS MERCY HE SAVED US

No one ever saved themselves like your professing. If you think you saved yourself or can. Your going to get a rude awakening one day.

But we are not here to convince you, Only God can, We are here to prevent you from bringing others with you.

John 6:29 [blb] -

"Jesus answered and said to them, 'This is the work of God, that you should believe in Him whom He has sent.' "

1 John 5:9-12 [blb] -

"9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony of God that He has testified concerning His Son. 10 The one believing in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son.

"11 And this is the testimony: that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 The one having the Son has life; the one not having the Son of God does not have life."

I find it odd. Ofcourse God the Father wants us to believe and listen to the Son.
And by believing and listening to Him to do what He told us to do,

How is this wrong? If I am saying something wrong that Jesus did not say show me?
And if I am wrong to listen and follow Jesus, then those who do otherwise do not know Him.
