I reckon they asked it because if one believes we should OBEY, then why not this one:
"25 Not FORSAKING the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as...."
Just a thought (as to why they posted that question, as to "where" they "assemble themselves together").

I have bibles in Italian also..
they say the same as in the English.
Besides which....
We should NOT be reading the bible verse by verse....
It's a complete thought and the complete thought needs to be understood.

I saw the word Obey in Gen 15: 6??

It says HE BELIEVED..
His obedience came OUT from his faith. But he was SAVED by his faith.

Maybe some of us don't go to a church, for one reason or another....
Does that let us be lost?
Maybe some of us go to church every Sat or Sun but we're as lost as lost could be.

I agree. I also speak two languages and have bibles in both!
They say the same thing, thats why I never bothered and never will bother to study "the greek".
First because there is more than one greek text, SECOND because just take a look at the scholars, they know the greek, and STILL DISAGREE!
I can find you a greek scholar who argues for and against baptismal regeneration, BOTH using "the greek" to prove their point. Its a useless skill for a regular Christian, imo!

Jesus says to obey him THEN he will come to live with you.

As usual. You people never admit your own sins, Yet preach obedience.. Hypocricy is the word I think they call it.

The church of the NT was a city church, which met every sunday, And composed of local house churches which were not seperate from the city Church, (this resembles my church, so yes there are churches like the NT churches, Many churches have home groups that meet often. Yet they still belong to a group of churches.
No, because we are saved by grace, through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is THE GIFT of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast...
and we are His workmanship, having been CREATED IN Christ Jesus UNTO good works... (not in order to BE saved, but because we ARE saved).
Here is the problem. If someone comes saying our goal is to walk like Jesus,
people will say works salvation.
If they say no matter how you behave, coming to faith saves you no matter how
you behave or believe afterwards, this is not saying you can live like you want.
The idea of walking like Jesus is His peoples heart desire. If one walk away obviously
it is not ones heart desire. Pretty obvious, and the only to say otherwise is this belief
God only cares about a statement of faith and not the transformation from sinner to
saint, except the whole of scripture is about this transformation and the people who
result from it.
Those scriptures don't go against the other scriptures that say God saves those He accepts.
Maybe you want to tell us why the people in Samaria had believed and still weren't saved at first.

No I am not. You claimed people think Jesus did away with his commands, This is bearing false witness.
If you think you can continue doing this and deny it, you are sadly mistaken.
And I will continue to go against you.
Because jesus said he will come live with us when we have faith in him, And even seal us with the spirit. By faith, Not by obaying him first. We can;t obey enough. So we would ALWAYS be in a state of condemnation.
