And trying to tell him that most are ready to give a beat down.
I was just explaining to you what was actually going on. And it has nothing to do with people disagreeing, And why some people were getting so upset, or as you said, ready to give a beatdown.

Looks like we will just have to agree to disagree......I think it's plainly talking about a backslider whose father said was dead and Lost......and dead in sin and lost will go to hell......you obviously don't see it that way

The bible says an unbeliever will go to hell (is condemned)
The bible says those who are against christ will go to hell, it calls them an antichrist, and john said whoever does not believe is an antichrist,
The prodigal son was niether of these, he was a son who decided to go try to live on his own without gods guidance, and as with all who try this, found out it did not work very well

A wise parent who entrusts their children to the Lords keeping, will recognize when they have to let go and practice their faith. Lessons may be necessary when a child is being bullheaded.

I am the same way, and I think the solution is EVERYONE makes it a habit to include the name you are responding to, up front, like I just did. That way, EVEN when you have a person on youre IGNORE LIST, you can figure out who is talking to whom.
