I suggest you put the comic books down and actually study FAITH and the SOURCE of FAITH and what is said about the source instead of listening to who ever the deceiver s that has been teaching you....

My bible teaches the following

GOD deals unto men a measure of FAITH and JESUS...

a. Begins it
b. Finishes it
c. Completes it

It must be tragic to serve such a weak god that needs your help to do that which the bible states he will do......that right there is religion for you........religion takes out a little of JESUS and injects SELF into the equation.......and in so doing peddles a false dogma with no power to save a flea, much less a man....

If you don't cooperate with God's grace, you are finished.

If you say God can save someone from a just punishment, adopt them as His son.... only later to throw them in the lake of fire... you are distorting the truth with false information and it reflects on Gods character.

If paul feared losing salvation, most of his writtings are utter nonsense, in fact we may as well just take all his books and throw them out and burn them, because that is about how reputable they are, because paul is one of the most contradictory people ever known

Paul went through being stoned and left for dead, being shipwrecked, beaten jailed most of his life, and through all these sufferimgs, in his word he considered them all a light affliction which is momentary when comsidered against the eternal glory which is to come.

Paul could not say or believe these things if he thought for even a second there was any possibility of him losing salvation in the future, noone could because no one knows the future.

You want paul to comtradict, and a bible that is useless, feel free

Fear - If paul feared losing salvation

continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
Philippians 2:12-14

If Paul says we need to have fear and trembling, what is this about?
Is fear wrong, a sin, a lack of faith or rightful respect and acknowledging our debt and powerlessness before
our Lord?

I hate to say this because I get kidded about it...
But I DO happen to know a theologian that reads the N.T. in Greek...has a PhD in Greek and theology, of course...and I DO speak to him about biblical matters.

I do firmly believe, however, that it's not NECESSARY to know Greek to understand what God wants from us.

And is this not the only reason we read the N.T.?
To find out what Jesus taught so we could get to heaven?
