what would be the point of answering your question, you just guessed i typed these words in to computer.Did you just sit down and start typing words randomly off top of your head??? What are you taking about???
Its like: We're playing football and you are on the baseball field hollaring I made a touchdown!
My question was simple ( again I will tpye slow). Can a person go to heaven without loving God?
BTW. You too did not attempt to answer my question
If the osas for every believer contingent in this thread, (who are very vociferous in their beliefs) know the truth and others do not, perhaps one of them can explain something to the rest of us:
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law, rather through the law we become conscious of sin Rom3:20
Sin is the transgression of the law 1John3:4
Therefore, rom 3:20 could just as well be written as:
Therefore no one will be declared righteous/justified in his sight by not committing sin, rather through the law we become conscious of sin
Paul writing to believers:
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal5:19-21
How can the quote from Galatians be correct, bearing in mind what Paul wrote in rom3:20?
You cannot use the dual nature to explain it, for the things mentioned in Galatians would be acts of the flesh, therefore acts of the flesh could bar you from the kingdom of God.
here is why I call you a legalist- I have repeatedly agreed with you that Christians are supposed to be doing good works, yet because I am not word-for-word agreeing with you, you continue to argue.
that is what legalist do- micro-manage how to be a Christian.
You are welcome to address and answer the question posed in the post you have responded toThe LAW condemns everyone.........end of story.....no matter how righteous one may seem there are NONE that keep the law 24/7/365 their whole life and exactly why the whole world becomes guilty with mouths shut.....the law as a school aster points to the only CURE of our fallen sinful disease.....
JESUS and HIS righteousness being imputed by faith WITHOUT the deeds/works of the law which ETERNALLY justifies us before CHRIST having been BORN again by INCORRUPTIBLE SEED by the IRREVOCABLE gift of faith, salvation and eternal LIFE......
AFTER one has been born again they are dealt with as CHILDREN and rewarded for faithful SERVICE or WHIPPED for disobedience.....HE does NOT forsake us and or LEAVE US and this was written to the SAVED, IMMERSED church members.....WHERE SIN abounds, GRACE abounds the MORE..........
THE ONLY SIN that is not covered is the sin of unbelief into the work of CHRIST by blasphemy of the Spirit <---THE pharisees were attributing the work of Christ by the power of the Holy SPIRIT to the power of the devil <---this is a state of UNBELIEF and ONE that will not believe into the work of CHRIST, they CANNOT be forgiven....
JESUS said....WHERE I am going YOU CANNOT COME because YOU DO NOT BELIEVE I AM HE...........
Regardless of those that reject this truth the following is true...
a. OUR spirit has been born again from above by incorruptible seed and DOES NOT SIN <--1st JOHN
b. IT is still housed in a FALLEN dead body of SIN that is not subject unto the word of GOD, neither indeed can BE <--Romans
c. THE BATTLE ground for control is the MIND which is subject unto the TRANSFORMATIONAL process described in Romans 12
The bible is clear on these truths........the more a man is transformed inwardly the BETTER and MORE godly he lives outwardly..the opposite is equally true!
SIN in a believer BREAKS fellowship, but does NOT lead to the loss of salvation....it also leads to chastisement and the loss of reward.....the bible clearly teaches these truths........
GOD ONLY WHIPS CHILDREN and ONLY FOR DISOBEDIENCE AND SIN
And the work produced is a byproduct of the work He is doing in each of us who believe in Him.Don't you guys get it yet? Works are a blessing the Lord allows us to do.View attachment 194224

... It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. THE LORD WILL PUNISH MEN FOR ALL SUCH SINS, as we have already told you and WARNED YOU. For GOD DID NOT CALL YOU TO BE IMPURE, BUT TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE. Therefore, HE WHO REJECTS THIS INSTRUCTION DOES NOT REJECT MAN BUT GOD, who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
... Therefore, PREPARE YOUR MINDS FOR ACTION; be self-controlled; SET YOUR HOPE FULLY ON THE GRACE TO BE GIVEN YOU WHEN JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:13-16
... But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
...I know your deeds, you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I HAVE NOT FOUND YOUR DEEDS COMPLETE IN THE SIGHT OF MY GOD.3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; OBEY IT, AND REPENT. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Revelation 3:1-3
...See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, IF WE TURN AWAY FROM HIM WHO WARNS US FROM HEAVEN? Hebrews 12:25
who do you expect to raise you from the dead, if its only words that expect a responce .
And the work produced is a byproduct of the work He is doing in each of us who believe in Him.
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
1 John 5:5 NASB
I love this picture because it is spot on for all who put their trust in the work and Grace of Him.
1 Corinthians 1-30
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, " Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord ."
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NASB

Generalised observation???This is a generalized observation concerning the handful of verses used to push a losable salvation I.E. comparable to the quote referenced above concerning the works of the flesh......
a. The bible makes it clear that within the ranks of the Lord's churches there will be at times tares sown in by the enemy.
b. Almost every time a man preaches behind the pulpit, in public etc. there will be lost men and women present
c. EVERYONE that teaches or preaches at times within a message makes very pointed statements to the whole group wile being directed at particular individuals.
NOT every verse given is applicable and or applied unto salvation.....While preaching to saved people we all have often made generalized statements that call to memory who we were and or who those within our ranks may yet be......
and we cannot forget....ALL lost men are found bound under the works of the flesh and the SIN associated with said works.....
and my bible is clear......IT is finished = paid in full......either JESUS paid our sin debt or he did not and we must of necessity place him on the cross EVERY SIN WE COMMIT.........and make no mistake.....SIN is SIN and we make a grievous error to qualify and quantify sin....your break the littlest aspect of the LAW...the smallest SIN makes you guilty of the whole.................................................................
can you prove this from the scripture?
because in my life, there are those whom i cannot help but love; of whom it is impossible for me to 'choose not to love' -- if i cannot choose to not love them how could i have ever chosen to love them?
who do you expect to raise you from the dead, if its only words that expect a responce .
Hi Posthuman, @ExtraEcclesiamNullaSalus "IS A TROLL",@ExtraEcclesiamNullaSalus you 'disagreed' with this post --- which is weird, because all it is, is a question, and how do you disagree with a question? ((whatisthisidon'teven)) -- but you didn't reply.
i was wondering if you could explain what your reaction meant; it's unclear to me.
do you disagree that i love someone whom it is impossible for me to do otherwise?
do you disagree that i should be asking whether a very common human assumption can be shown from scripture?
are you just generally offended by this post so you wanted to put a red x on it?
why does a brand-new member with 0 posts, yet savvy enough about the forum to tune their privacy settings so i can't speak to you privately, go directly to this thread & put a big red x on what is nothing more than an honest question? i don't get it. i may be an idiot sheep, but i'm smart enough to realize you're not a 'new member' -- could you just clarify for me what you're trying to communicate?
thanks![]()
Generalised observation???
If you know the truth of scripture just directly address the question posed in the post you are passing genaralised observations of. How can Paul tell people they have righteousness/justification apart from not committing sin, and then warn believers that if they live in certain ways they will be barred from the kingdom of heaven?
