Because of my " faithing " my continually surrendered life and living a life inspired by such surrender , my conscience has been replaced with the mind of Christ .

The mind of Christ isn't like most everything else that can be parroted from scripture . It's the one thing only those who are having the experience would know what happens and what it's like .

you still have not answered my question- why was mr. vine qualified to re-translate the N.T.

and why did mr. vine not deem the O.T. not important enough to re-translate.

what i see is you ((the purple bit)) completely ignoring what i said ((the green bit)), neglecting to give any context, and inserting a completely imaginary statement of your own devising ((the purple bit)) which is totally unrelated to my statement -- a strawdude, if you will -- for you to knock down.

Umm, your pisteou has been challenged in the matter of translation as you see it was a mistranslated word in the English but for me it's not. You go from the facts of misunderstanding using Greek Dictionary but shown to water down its meaning. I can glean from Vine but not my ultimate source of Authority. It's the Bible! I will let pass this thing and we can moved on because I see some fillers of surrender but I simply reject your warning.

The source of your authority is the Bible , then why do you reject it's original texts and definitions ?

My ultimate authority is Christ , the real living person , not His words . his word and texts like Vines and Strongs " valadate " the relationship Christ has molded in me , by Faith , by faithing , by the continual surrendering of my life to Him and living a life inspired by such surrender .

You've rejected God's warning , not mine .

I don't reject the true definitions of pisteuo and pistis, only your faithing fallacy and also your confusion between the ROOT of salvation and the FRUIT of salvation, with the end result being salvation by works, as I already explained in post #77,441.

when you get done warning everyone about not believing mr. vines opinion of greek translation, maybe you explain what qualified him to re-translate the N.T.

Some of the comments by Mr. Farthing...absolutely takes the cake for something less than boot scrapings after being in the barn.....notice how much he pushes self and what he does and or has done.....very little if any Christ in his equation.....

Why don't you explain to us what YOU believe the gospel IS and also what YOU believe it means to "BELIEVE" the gospel. (Romans 1:16)
