Seriously people , read , and understand the difference between old and new covenant teachings, and learn about " the dispensation of Grace " ( ephesians 3:2 )
Why do so many try to discredit Paul and go against what he says ? Christ himself gave him what he said , geeesh

Because the Cainologists and workers for cannot fathom the truth that JESUS was born, lived and died under the law which ratified the NEW Covenant which PAUL, as the apostle unto the GENTILES covers extensively.........I can say that any and ALL who pit JESUS against PAUL or PAUL against JESUS are not only missing the mark, but are ALSO doing it out of ignorance and error.

A good point that many miss or cannot embrace......lost people do good works every day and even saved people fail God daily with works that makes the rotten fruit category.......

Why is it so hard to understand that EVERY TRUE SAVED BORN AGAIN BELIEVER has done the WORK of the HEAVENLY FATHER already by simply BELIEVING in and on JESUS........

In regards to Romans 1:5, although Paul can speak of people’s initial response of choosing to believe the gospel as an act of obedience, in which he describes it as "obeying the gospel" (Romans 10:16; 1:16), the purpose of Paul’s apostleship was not merely to bring people to conversion but also to bring about transformed lives that were obedient to God.

*Notice that Paul said they HAVE (already) received grace and apostleship FOR/UNTO obedience to the faith. Just as in Ephesians 2:10, Paul said that we are created in Christ Jesus FOR/UNTO good works. We are clearly saved FORgood works, NOT BY good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Paul did not say that they did not receive grace and apostleship until they produced obedience afterwards.

We have access by faith into grace.. Romans 5:2 not faith "and obedience/works." We are saved through faith in Christ first, then "unto" obedience/works.
