but it's not until the third time that Peter says "Lord, you know all things" -- which is, to know all things; saying Lord, you are omniscient. who is omniscient but God?
only knowing who Jesus is, is someone able to feed His sheep. Peter got on base after the third swing :)
Exactly......hahhaa Peter had his faults for sure....but as far as we know...he is the only other man to walk on water....even if but for a short time!

Another interesting truth....Daniel contains a little Chaldean and Jesus speaks in Aramic........to me the difference is like comparing a black and white tv to a High Def Color Tv........the languages brings out the "color" if you will........

i think, this must be why we have Mark 5:41 recording Jesus saying 'talitha koum' and in 15:34 saying 'Eloi Eloi' -- and giving the translation. it was important that these two things be read in Hebrew.
((not that i know why, just that i know it was significant to Mark))

You have the originals?

I will not argue the fact that both the Hebrew and Greek can be consulted, studied and or utilized to gain a better knowledge of the scriptures.....and too be frank....the only people I know that have an issue with going to the Hebrew and Greek are King Jimmites that worship a translated/transliterated version over the God of the version....God killed both languages and both are available for study...
You realize most here don't know from what you speak.
Oh well...........maybi I kan talc n kintegarten spich so tey kan unterstan it hahhahahhahha

Huge difference between pre- and post-Pentecost Peter. He was a different man after he was filled with the Spirit. It is wonderful to be a 'new creature in Christ Jesus' . . . cuz' that guy just ain't me no mo!

Yeah....I am fairly confident of two things.....Paul withstanding Peter to his face because of his hypocrisy which came AFTER the 50th day occurance and Peter was born from above by the Spirit the day he was saved which was before the 50th day.......do not confuse the empowering of the Lord's churches on the 50th day with the SPIRIT OF HIM THAT RAISED UP JESUS DWELLING IN US......<--born again from above by incorruptable seed!

"Anything we do which misses the mark of perfection is sin."

Not sure if your quote above is correct..IMO...

I think if someone does something KNOWINGLY its wrong is sin..if they DONT know...its a "whoops" and needs correction..theres a difference...we arent held accountable of judged for things we DONT know but what we DO

Like a child who is bout to touch a hot stove unknowingly..you dont discipline cause he doesnt know any better..you "correct"..if he does it AGAINn KNOWS..you discipline...

And to add..it all boils down to the motives of our hearts that often dictate our actions..and God is the only one that can judge someonez heart
Sin is sin is sin. Us not knowing it is sin is not an excuse

Other than that I agree, Our heart attitude or motivation is what determines if it is sin or not.

It is a crying shame to think that believers have no clue that Daniel was carried away captive by Nebuchadnezzar into the land of Chaldea under Babylonian rule.......but then again....most never pick the bible up except to dust the cover off for the Sunday morning I feel good because I went to church once this week service .........note I did not say all.......!
