Ive had to strictly budget for the last 30 yrs so dont know how much more i can do since im not a frivolous spender..and thinking bout making a flower pot garden in spring simce i rent and theres no garden spot..i already sew..etc..HOWEVER..i dont want to compromise my tithe..the more i give ive asked God to show me other areas that i can give..so i give to others but "forget" my own bills..lol..no not really..the women at work tease me because they see how ive had times of financial struggle but yet i give to others..i tell them theres always others more hard up than me..:) Am i wrong?

Wise men see evil coming.....I do not buy the imminent return of Christ and why I wrote the book...the bible teaches post tribulation/pre wrath ingathering.....4 things kill tribulation saints...we can do something about 3 of them, the 4th one is up to God.....in other words, most know I have prepped for the tribulation period....through prayer amd seeking the will of God he has provided in way too many ways for it to be coincedental.......and the place I have is for God's people.who see it coming and are wise enough to see the evil coming and prepare for it! God does not upbraid<---this point is obvious when considering what I have just said!!

WHAT place do you have for Gods people?

There are other ways to give, the Lord love's a cheerful giver. Time for one, i.e., volunteer, give some time. That's worth something, you get paid for it so why not give it. It's worth money. See if your newfound church has an outreach program and help someone. 10% of 40 hrs is 4 hrs. huh? I'm sure there's a mission or soup kitchen nearby that could use some help too, that is if you can love the unlovely. You're a mother where do the kids go when their parents are in church? You know the bible well enough for children, Sunday school teacher.I could go on and on. You most certainly have talents the Lord can use. Remember your giving to the lord, not the church. He wouldn't have you short on rent money or groceries if you could give something else of value. You are worth more to him than 10% of your hard gotten cash. Giving from the heart is likely worth more to him than money anyway. @Deade @dcontroversal please pile on.

Hi BaptistBibleBeliever, someone correct me if I am wrong; but I believe there is a forum rule that says you cannot draw forum users away from this forum to go to a different forum which is understandable. I would use caution about what type of website you are posting.

A LOT of people have told me i have a hard time "recieving" but i truly like to give..was a youth group leader for years..new church has ways you can help but you need to go through a 5 step class tells bout church n church can know bout you too..sounds legalistic but remember..we get people off the streets there so..for instance..i volenteered to be one of the people that makes a food to share for wed nite small groups (for many people..this is thier ONLY MEAL) so..i am makimg bbq pulled pork sandwhiches..i intend on making extra for the single mom in my small group ive shate about so shes not struggling so much..

Lol..i think he was refering to the personal "blogs" on here..dcon said he ppsted his book on the blog..i asked how to get to it..but the new system is different and tgats what bbb was explaining..not directing us to another site for his owm agenda..

I agree with you and I had posted my blog on this forum for years with no problem. I hope I did not lead him astray because blogs or books are perfectly acceptable.
