You tell me.what does 1 Cor 15:2 mean about believing in vain?
There are a lot of believers who do not know what true grace is.

You tell me.what does 1 Cor 15:2 mean about believing in vain?
What a horrible fake gospel it is to think that by confessing with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and that by believing in my heart that God hath raised Jesus from the dead, that I will be saved.
Wow, geesh, wow, is that the most horrible fake gospel you have ever heard of?
Now you can really see what these
"horrible fake gospels", are all about.
that fits snugly into the gospel
nothing wrong with the verse
but your understanding (as well as bens) is flawed
John 6:47 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life
if this "he" cannot speak
he is still saved
by grace through faith
if he can speak
and does believe
obviously he will confess it
because we who are born again are not ashamed of Him
free giftYou tell me.

twisting words? blasphemy! Here you go again "twisting my words"; I never said confessing and believing in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead was horrible, I said "Your fake gospel", was horrible and it is. You also twist and misinterpret the bible in this way, and yes that is horrible as well.
Putting false words on a public forum that I "never ever said", is at least akin to lying, if not actually lying.
If it was plain and simple then we wouldn’t have over 3000 pages of heated debate.
So with that said, are you referring to initial salvation where we are born again, or the salvation we will receive on the Day of Judgement when we are judged according to our deeds?
JPT
Then explain Romans 10:9, which directly says if a man confess.....he will be saved.
1 Corinthians 15what does 1 Cor 15:2 mean about believing in vain?
as many times as it takes for Jesus to die for sin and save the souls of those who believe, onceWe have one gift of salvation and one time for it. Judgment decides whether or not our rewards hold up or if we receive any at all. How many times do you think you can be saved?

I'm a layperson as well.free gift
no requirement, no matter how awkward, or "that's it?" (no requirements attached) your heart may feel, that your heart may feel "so eerie", yet being blessed by such a generous God, ... ooh, what is this our hearts feel, desire to love him back? Jesus suffered for us to the point of deprivation, we feel bad for Jesus, and want to hold Jesus in our arms like a vulnerable creature that's faint but breathing ... um, I'm just a layperson, I really need to work in my theology or something
Yes onceas many times as it takes for Jesus to die for sin and save the souls of those who believe, once
Hi NoName, theologians say the same thing, first comes belief our salvation a gift of God and then we confess with our mouth which is a work of the mouth. They are trying to mix our actions with Gods free gift of eternal salvation. You are absolutely correct.
Romans10:10
10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.…
some people just refuse the simplicity which is in Christ
(anyone who doesnt accept we are saved by grace through faith and not of works)
We have one gift of salvation and one time for it. Judgment decides whether or not our rewards hold up or if we receive any at all. How many times do you think you can be saved?
You forgot to add and, "you can lose" your eternal salvation and that salvation is by works. Eternal Life is a free gift and no one can snatch us out of His hands. Your fake gospel leads you to fear of losing your salvation and never knowing if I am in or out of salvation.
Yes it is a horrible insecure gospel that you promote.
short and sweet
