Thanks bro and exactly what I am doing!

No it does not, the verse benhur referredto speak of the great tribulation period, where Jesus returns, because if hedid not, all flesh will die, but he will return for the sake of the elect, wheber endures to the end (of tribulation)will be saved
James said if i had no works, if i had 1 work 20years ago does not matter, he said no works.
And how would you know if i had one work 20 years ago are you God?
Who are you to judge?
Romans 11:6Hi E-grateful, benhur is very judgmental I have noticed. And using fictitious people and stories are never a good strategy when applying truth to a discussion because there is no way to go back and verify. The people and places in this make-believe story are not real.
"It is a fabricated made up story", as you have already taken notice, "20 years ago?"
I find it interesting that the dialogue always comes back around to this, what is more interesting is those who believe works have a part in salvation or good works are necessary to prove salvation, really believe they have answered the question.![]()
Amen, true, we in the Church Age, are saved without works. No it does not, the verse ben hur reffered to speak of the great tribulation period, where jesus returns, because if he did not, all flesh will die, but he will return for the sake of the elect, wheber endures to the end (of tribulation)will be saved
The bible says when he returns as a thief, whoever is alive will be caught up to te lord.
the bi le also says many people from many nations will serve christ in the mellenial rein

they're obvious questions, IMO
i'm saved by works or my salvation is maintained by or contingent on works?
ok, is that quantifiable? one work enough? no? how many then?
what's the cutoff? is 9 not enough but 10 sufficient? is there a 'grey area' in between more than enough an not quite enough, where God will go case-to case basis?
does the distribution matter? can i get all my necessary works over with over a week, a month, a year - pack them all in a hurry and then not have to do anymore? can i put them all off till my deathbed and then phone them in over a couple of days? what if there are large gaps between them? is there a certain spacing that they have to be done in or they only count as one work?
what if i memorize a psalm while helping a little old lady across the street and i leave a trail of food for the poor as i go?
is that three works or just one, because they're simultaneous?
???
Plenteous in number that get cast <----those who push or boast or peddle a faith/works cafe blend false gospel!!
the way to giving Him all glory is narrow![]()

Romans 11:6
Exactly.....and the minority within so called Christianity gives all glory to God in Christ while believing eternal salvation and security based upon grace and faith and the power/promises of Christ.....
Exactly why the number is plenteous that gets cast!

Really surprised you chunked this verse out in light of the fact it also states, "But you brethern are not in darkness that that day should over take you as a thief"
we seem to be getting overrun by people like this lately, its sad.
According to your calculations about how to be saved, no.
According to my calculations about how to be saved, yes. If you commit to Christ in 2018, then reject Christ in 2025, he will reject you and your salvation is lost. My calculation includes a provision for enduring to the end. Yours does not.
Eternal Security: 1Corinthians1:8,9
8) He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9) God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
