Because then we wouldn't learn to bear with one another and forgive.
But I think we'd all learn a lot more in here if everyone would just shut up and let me do the talking. :rolleyes::D
 
I was reading Romans last night before I turned out the light and when I read Paul saying the good news tells us all about how God makes us right with Himself and from start to finish, it is all accomplished by trust (faith).

So I fell asleep wondering why it took me so long to understand the verse. Why did I struggle so bad at trying to be good for so long before I could rest? And I was still His through all of that. He communed with me very often.

When I finally really, really understood it, I then became frightened that I'd forget it and get tangled again. I didn't want to lose my rest because I'd exhausted myself so bad for so many years.
