I suggest that you think about what Paul wrote about himself. We all face this struggle and require Jesus to deliver us like he states.I need a translation filter.
A group appear to be saying if you encourage others, as Jesus and the apostles said,
to do good works, showing the love God has planted within and cleansing out the sin
and evil that once resided there, this is pointing to man.
The stupidity of this logic, is the whole point is Jesus turning sinners into saints through
His grace, bringing glory to the King.
What these people want to claim is they point to Jesus, except Jesus without His words,
without His precepts, love, victory and overcoming in the believer.
If Jesus does not effect the believer to His glory, then what is the point of witnessing,
because Jesus does nothing. But the heart of this lie, is disobedience to the word of God,
rebellion against repentance, confession and humbleness. Everything is turned upside down,
like the drug addict who has found a pile of heroin so he can kick back all he likes, he is
in heaven, except it will lead him straight to death.
This core point of rebellion against loving each other as He has loved us, is they believe that
kind of love is impossible. And this is true if one is not filled with the Holy Spirit, so enough
said. Halleluyah that He empowers us to walk in His ways.
The new grace doctrine in the church is the new once saved always saved doctrine. You can't even see it's opposed to your Calvinist doctrine.
Calvinism is on it's way out. Now the person living in sin is saved just as long as he 'got saved' somewhere in the past. In Calvinism, that person was never saved to begin with. In Arminianism, he either was never saved to begin with, or lost his salvation.
Try this on for size.simple response, tell me accprding to pauls gospel, what is the difference between these two Groups of people.
3And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them <which do such things, and doest the same,< that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? <
4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? <<<<
5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to every man according to his deeds:<<<7>>>To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: ( those who patiently continue in doing well)
8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.
v... 16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."
now, without going and grabbing a bunch of grace scriptures, first address what paul is clearly teaching here, to the roman church. these epistles arent addressed to anyone other than believers in the church. so the argument so many try making well this line is for the church, but not this one, these 2 verses yea they are for you but not this one..... thats just silly, are you going to argue what determines eternal Life, or wrath accprding to "pauls gospel"
or is it way to clear to see
6Who will render to every man according to his deeds:<<<7>>>To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
pretty hard to eliminate the person actions there, what about the other group who refuse to obey the gospel?
8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God."
now, sure you can go to galatians, or ephesians and pull a verse that says " were saved by Grace"
My thing tho is who has came up with this bizarre, grace lens that people try to look through? the one that changes the rest of the epistles and eliminates pauls doctrine and calls it the gog.
How does what paul say about Grace, then suddenly change all the rest of what He said about things like this eternal Judgement. it doesnt because Grace is given to teach us to repent of sin and live godly lives here and now. there is nothing valid that will insist nothing we do matters. if grace doesnt lead to repentance its not Gods grace. if a christian wants to be saved, send them to Jesus He has no distortions He is the One God annointed for the purpose or preaching the Gospel. by the way, Jesus taeches the exact same Judgement paul does...obvously since Jesus is the Lord and the Lords Word stands forever and all.
that sort of means we dont then go erase all the things He said, that we dont agree with. in the end each of us will go and asnwer to Jesus. The Words of the One and Only Judge, are published and available in every nation on earth, he seems to make it pretty important what we do, Being this is true
2 corinthians 5 " For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
just that 1 verse, should make you understand hopw important what we do, is. Jesus is going to judge the world according to His word. its already in front of us. One way. Jesus.
of course it matters
what im saying

what im asking ralph
if once you are born of God
made new do you think you can lose salvation?
because thats not biblical
Christians have been known to completely rebel from God & apostatize.
We're living right now in the Falling Away of the church.
Sinners can't fall away when they're already on the bottom.
"You'll know them by their fruits."

Ephesians 2 New International Version (NIV)
Made Alive in Christ
2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Grace is the free gift of salvation from Jesus. There is nothing we can do to earn it. Jesus redeems us with grace. It is part and parcel of salvation. What is your problem with that word in scripture?
I'm challenging the church's doctrine that says a 'believer' can live in a homosexual relationship, be a drunkard, look at pornographic content, love the world, etc. and they can be saved because salvation is not by works, and once you are saved you can not lose your salvation.
I've been saying if you think that and live like that you show that you are not saved. John said it, not me. But for some reason the church has decided that he is wrong.
The problem with this new grace doctrine is it makes John a liar. He said the person who lives in sin is not born again. Didn't you know this?
You can't have it both ways. That's why it's impossible to talk to you people. You say the person living in sin is not born again, then you turn right around and say some believers are still living in sin.
N..,
Suggest you do further study...if you are concluding that a repented person cannot loose that status...OSAS;
That is not biblical.
If you are saying that after physical death if we are declared ..."saved"...by G-d, upon review, that is correct...it is permanent.
The Bible says...."maintain until the end" (physical death);
The Bible warns against " backsliding";
The Bible warns against loss of crowns;..."let no man take your crowns".
.
God's definition of an apostate is different to the world's. The book of Jude specifically confirms that apostates are those who don't have the Spirit. Therefore, we know they're not born again believers.
Do you not believe that the church congregations have a mix of believers and non believers in them? Because you seem to focus solely on believers as being the ones that fall away, when the scriptures say otherwise.
1 John 2:19: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us"
Jude:
Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Old and New Apostates (shows us what old apostates were like, so we have an example)
But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
Apostates Depraved and Doomed
These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
Apostates Predicted
These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
Maintain Your Life with God
But you, beloved (believers), building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. (Distinction is made between believers and apostates)
Glory to God
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

Who are you challenging?!? I don't know of any believer that supports or promotes this, so not sure where you're getting this from?
Sin is sin, but there is a difference between a sinful lifestyle and a sinful temptation, and I think this is where the confusion is.
The scripture that comes to mind...
1 Cor 6:9-11: Do you not know that the unrighteous (non believers) will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you (believers). But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God"
The ones involved in/"living in" such sinful lifestyles are non believers, lost in the world, who have not been convicted of their sins yet. It says "And such were some of you" as in some believers used to be involved in those lifestyles before they became new creatures in Christ. They don't go back to that life.
As for believers, we are not sinless, because while we have these bodies we will always struggle with the sin nature. So believers will occasionally fail, whether they have a wrongful thought or get angry. Still wrong, but this is not the same as living in a sinful lifestyle. A believer does not go back to life as a thief, or back to a homosexual lifestyle, for example.
Romans 7:14-25:
"For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin"
