Those that have come into rest, laying down self works of trying to please what has been preached "an angry god" and picked up His has His life to offer one who is devoid of life. In wisdom.

No kidding. He knows all. But he chooses to acquit or condemn based upon evidence. He himself said so. That's not a works gospel. But because you are not being taught what he said you will have a hard time bucking the distorted teaching you have been fed. That's why it's 'aberrant' to you. It's outside of your established beliefs. I know. Been there, done that.

You can't accept the fact that once a person is saved, nothing we do, or not do, can separate us from God, nothing in all creation (Romans 8:31-39). Because salvation is based entirely on Jesus, and not on us in any way.

What does that have to do with needing to have works to be saved when Jesus comes back?

The presence of the blood is signified by being a new creation growing up into the image of Christ looking like him more and more. No new nature means no salvation by the blood occurred.

1 Samuel 16:7

Correct. I'm not saying works save us. Only faith in the forgiveness of God saves. Our works show if we possess that forgiveness by faith.

“For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.” 48Then He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.”
50And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”-Luke 7:47-48,50

No, fruits do not save. I plainly said that.

The fruit of the Spirit shows that we have his life in us and will be saved, not cut out and burned in the fire.

We are attached to the life of the vine by faith-Romans 11:20. We produce fruit because we are attached to the life of the vine-John 15:4.

Apart from him we can not bear fruit. Jesus said so. That's why fruit bearing is the evidence of having the life of the vine, Christ, in us.
