...Make no mistake....I am spot on with salvation....you on the other hand are playing a pair of twos against a Royal Flush......and your cafe blend false gospel of works will not win the pot....ever!
Go read the rest of what Paul wrote under inspiration and then get your head out of da sand....
Acts 16
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Believe, believe, believe
It's about the fruit of the Spirit. Those who walk in the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, compassion, forgiveness, self control, etc.) don't have to fear the return of Jesus because in this life they act like Him.So will you please tell me what works I MUST do to stop Jesus from throwing me into hell when he returns! Because I'm scared.
Self control is a fruit of the Spirit.Quitting smoking isn't a WORK surely?
Being considerate of people by not hurting them by doing these things is a work of the Spirit in a person.Stopping fornication and boozing isn't a work.
No.Do I have to go to Sudan and preach the gospel to the militants there? Or do I have to find some vagrants and feed them?
The key is, don't focus on the 'DO', focus on the 'BEING'. Be patient, be considerate, be gentle, don't be overbearing, don't be cruel, don't be hurtful, don't be hateful. Ask God to produce this inside of you and when you feel it rise up inside of you ACT ON IT. Don't quench the Spirit moving you to act out the works of the Spirit. What WORK shall I DO to stop your Jesus from throwing me into the pit with the devil?
Acts 16:30-31, "16:30, "And having led them outside he said, “Masters, what do I have to do to be saved?”"16:31, "And they said, “Believe on the Master יהושע Messiah, and you shall be saved, you and your household.”"
Does that mean simply believe He, the Messiah existed?
or does that mean to beleive that He is the Messiah YHWH sent that we must shawmawh?
Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Yah has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.”
John 8:24, “Therefore I said to you that you shall die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins.”
Hebrews 5:9, “And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting salvation to all those obeying Him.”
John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
without faith it is impossible to please Him,
Causer of everlasting salvation to all those obeying Him
is the whole word true? or only the parts that can be seen as free of doing His will?
Faith comes after salvation. It involves pleasing the Lord through the works of your life, aka obedience. Obedience to the faith leads to the perfecting of the saints, not salvation. The believer is already saved.
I see this as "saved or born again" in modern verbage:
Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.”
and this are truly born again/recieved salvation:
1 Corinthians 15:51-55, “See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming. O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?”
Mat 24:29-31, “And immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Aḏam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Aḏam coming on the clouds of the heaven with power and much esteem. And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
that is why it is said:
Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”
Matt 24:12-13, “And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.”
Hebrews 10:36, “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of Yah you may receive what is promised.”
Hebrews 3:14, “For we have become partakers of Messiah if we hold fast the beginning of our trust firm to the end.”
James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him."
I thnk this sums it up well:
John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers. You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."
You're posting Jewish passages in Matthew, James and Hebrews applicable for the Jews in the tribulation where they must endure to the end to be saved through the tribulation into the millennial kingdom of Christ. Go to Paul's letters to receive instruction for the Church, the body of Christ.
Acts 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
Paul and Silas expounded upon what they meant. According to Paul, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is believing Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again.
Not to be rude or anything, but why do you keep harping on this word?Acts 16
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Believe, believe, believe
Psalm 139:23, "Search me, O Yah, and know my heart; Try me, and know my thoughts;"
Hebrews 4:12-13, “For the Word of Yah is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all are naked and laid bare before the eyes of Him with whom is our account.”
John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Yah has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.”
Hebrews 5:9, “And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting salvation to all those obeying Him.”

WHY CAN’T YOU REFUTE OR JUST ENLIGHTEN EVERYONE YOU DISAGREE WITH INSTEAD OF MAKING INAPPROPRIATE REMARKS. IF WHAT YOU’RE SAYING IS TRUE THAT YOU HAVE A GENUINE SAVING FAITH THEN WHY NOT BELIEVE THAT IT IS GOD WHO MAKES THE SEED GROW AND STOP DIVIDING THE CHURCH AND MAKE ROOM FOR EDIFICATION.
1 Corinthians 3:6-7 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
Romans 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to MUTUAL EDIFICATION.
1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But DO IT WITH GENTLENESS AND RESPECT.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Luke 6:43-45 A Tree and Its Fruit “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Romans 3:3-4 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”

Because, a gospel that includes a FAITH plus WORKS, is a false GOSPEL.
2 Corinthians 11:4 (HCSB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For if a person comes and preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or you receive a different spirit, which you had not received, or a different gospel, which you had not accepted, you put up with it splendidly!
Galatians 1:6-9 (HCSB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from Him who called you by the grace of Christ ⌊and are turning⌋ to a different gospel—
[SUP]7 [/SUP] not that there is another ⌊gospel⌋, but there are some who are troubling you and want to change the good news about the Messiah.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you, a curse be on him!
[SUP]9 [/SUP] As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!
Ephesians 2:8-9 (HCSB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—
[SUP]9 [/SUP] not from works, so that no one can boast.
Titus 3:5-7 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] He saved us— not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
[SUP]7 [/SUP] so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
The word "believe" can describe mere "mental assent belief," as in James 2:19, or also include "trust and reliance in Christ for salvation," as in Acts 16:31.James 2:19-20, “You believe that Yah is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! But do you wish to know, O empty man, that the belief without the works is dead?”
“believe” is word #G4100 - pisteuó: to believe, entrust, Original Word: πιστεύω, Part of Speech: Verb, Transliteration: pisteuó, Phonetic Spelling: (pist-yoo'-o), Short Definition: I believe, have faith in, Definition: I believe, have faith in, trust in; pass: I am entrusted with.
