Am going to say this here since so many of us are suffering with pain. I started taking CBD oil 3 weeks ago, and severe pain has become minimal. I still take pain Meds but what was uncontrolled pain is mostly gone with the combination. Plus, other improvements in other ways.

Ive basically been housebound since 1988. Thanksgiving day, I went to the mall with my daughter. First time in many years to be in the mall.

And heat is for sciatic pain that goes down the leg. It feels like an electric current a bit. Is different than back pain, so was only addressing sciatic pain. Still holding ground. Lol.

Turmeric in addition to fish oil is as, you stated, very good for inflammation, lowered inflammation results in less pain.

Good Morning Dr.Stone's, as you may have heard I have injured my Sciatic nerve. Today at 1pm I go for my second treatment at the Chiropractor's office and at 11am i will see my primary care Doc. My question to you is what type of pain relief should I ask for when I see the Primary care Doctor. She gave me tramadol, a musle relaxer before but they do not work for this level of pain. Any Ideas what I should use. I prayed to Jesus all nite and praise God He was with me all night. What do you think I'm in terrible pain right now.

Hello everyone, I will be down and out for awhile due to Sciatic nerve treatments; I took a fall in the shower and pinch the sciatic nerve, no pain relief as yet, trusting in Jesus. I have mostly fond memories of this forum and look to be back here soon. Prayer are welcome as aways...Tell Dcon, it has always been saved by grace eternally, "Not By Works" :)

My MD prescribes me high dose Tramadol and flexeril and I take 1 or 2 benedryl with it. The prescribed drugs kill the pain and relax me and the benedryl allows me to sleep.

Flexeril does nothing for me until.the next day....and then i do not want to do anything.....hahaha...slaps self for getting involved......

Uh, you do know that tramadol slows down the respirations? Can't say that. Hope you got it though.

go straight turmeric if you can. I do 1,000MG a day, but had to work up to that level. My Chirp can get a 1000MG capsule. I take it in the morning w/3000MG of fish oil.

I am finally able to get back into aquatic fitness, which is major progress and I lost all the weight I gained from being immobile for 4 months.

LOL! My cocktail is used only when needed. It like antibiotics. I let them prescribe away, but never use them and just store them away for the time and season.

yes I know, which is why I am only allowed to use it when really needed. I have not had to in about 6 months.

This is because I am able to get active in aquatic fitness again and back to core stretching and taking pressure of my SI joints and strengthening them again

This is so true! Glad you started this thread dcon (deacon!! lol), I can't usually talk about my faith in the Singles or Misc forums... they'd think I'm a heretic, or no one would understand, so this is a good place to hang out haha.
