That is what the mod had to say to PHart on the thread PHart keeps harping about.

I did not report him in this thread. I left that for you since he attacked you. But I wish oncefallen would come in and show what he thinks about what he said in here also. Since he attacked youy in here also.

I wonder why he thinks it is okay to do in this thread what he was clearly told is unacceptable in another thread. I have had him on ignore for over a week now, and do not care to read more of his lies and slander. Anyone reading the thread in question can ascertain for themselves that I never said it was "good" to watch explicit material, nor did I even mention GoT, which keeps being brought up in relation to the same issue as if I had. If it is a sin for someone to watch a certain show, then they should not watch it. Claiming it is a sin for anyone else, or that others watch historical dramatizations of the monarchy solely for the explicit material that might be included, is projection. Claiming it is evidence of lack of faith is delusion.

Oh my, this I shall print also :)...Thank you my Lavender friend...xox...((( Hugs )))
Going to post this on my Facebook page on Thanks giving...Although I give thanks and praise to God everyday, but this is so beautiful I will have to share it...xox...

If we seek to do good works (we should feel the need to do so by furthering the Kingdom of God) that is not a problem. However, even non-believers do good works.

IMO, if we seek to do the will of God, good works will follow. But I fully admit that my salvation does not depend upon my works. Praise be to God the Father who has sealed me by the HS unto salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ unto that day He comes to take me home to be with Him forever and forever. Amen

PS: I do not believe I could do enough good works to ever live with Him in eternity.
I am in total agreement with you. With our salvation through Christ we should be driven to do good works. But keep in mind that to God our good works are as filthy rags. He sees into our hearts controlled by our evil nature and knows why we do these "good works". It isn't a pure heart. Be that as it may we should strive to do good.

I thank God for Christ's dying for us. His resurrection proves who He was and that His sacrifice was not in vein. An old preacher friend told me he always preached Jesus risen and that led to his sacrifice but if he preached Jesus crucified he might not get to the resurrection and its meaning.

I was thinking the same thing, especially after what happened to another member, Either way,. he should never have judged your salvation or that you were excusing sin.

The truth always finds you out. Why he thought he could get away with it is beyond me.

Yes works are like filthy rags. Yes we seek to be like Jesus.
Praise him.

He does see our hearts and our works.
Works will be tested and some will not be filthy rags and some will but we will be saved on account of Jesus.

One thing I would encourage us to remember is that not all works are filthy rags.
In fact to me (open to discussion here)

He is in fact pleased with us.
He said of Jesus "This is my son with whom I am well pleased"

We are his children with whom he is well pleased with.

From my experience when I done what is right he says to me "Well done now let's keep walking together"

When I have done wrong and fess up he is also pleased.

Cause he can work in us.

We need to remember he loves us as much as he loves Jesus.
Jesus said it himself.

So what I'm trying to say here is that it's not wrong to come before God and thank him that today we walked like he had asked us to, whatever ever it may be.

When we thank him then he says "You are my child with we whom I am well pleased"

Hope I make sure sense
