What you do is the evidence for or against your faith. You seem to not be able to understand this even though I and others say it over and over and over again. And I know you can't get it because of the power of the OSAS doctrine presently gripping the church at this time in church history. The noble in heart will hear, though, and be saved.

I am not sinless. I am not going to judge a persons salvation because they have a weakness. I do not have that ability! Nor do you!

Perhaps, then you are preaching to the wrong group. You aren't the only one who has had it with sin. I would say most of us here are on fire. But for truth, not the spirit of error.
 
Very interesting thread. Just my two-cents worth. One can work all they like but that will not get them into eternity with God Almighty.

Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only Way.

Then, once saved one will seek to do good works because one has become a child of God and doing good works should come naturally.

But what do you really do for entertainment?
There is no way all you do is just sit around and read the bible. That would get boring pretty quick.

Gym? How about documentaries? Those are not evil. Last time I checked. How about bowling, or is that worldly and of satan as well?
Jogging? Listening to sermons?

People only seek out the sin of others to make themselves feel good. It is one of the many dangers of legalism.
 
Here is what PHart is saying: "I'm holy and love God and hate sin. But you OSAS people love sin, live in sin, and make excuses for sin! You're lost and I'm saved and sad because I'm so holy and you aren't!" *Sniff* *sniff* :(

I'm not sinless....I'm blameless. Because of my continuing faith in Christ.

Purposely watching salacious programming on TV and computer is nothing more than a trampling of the blood of Christ in a contemptuous unbelief. But I know most will not understand that because of OSAS doctrine gripping the church at this present time.

There's a BIG difference between struggling with sin and purposely indulging it, folks. The latter is nothing more than a return to unbelief. Turn around and come back to Christ while you still can, before he turns you over to your unbelief and you CAN'T come back, even if you plead with tears to come back.

God wants us to have life and have it more abundantly. There is no need to feel guilty kicking back on your Lazy Boy and watch something on the boob tube. Based on your answer I would have to say that your life is lived without any joy whatsoever. This is certainly not something that one should emulate if they desire a healthy spiritual life. It is a sad way to live ones life.

God does not need proof. He knows. You are not God. So give it up/.

There is security in Christ Jesus PHart. We can't even trust ourselves. Is why God has put us to death with His Son, and raised us up in newness of life.

You can trust the work of Holy Spirit. He will keep you.

All these argument. They are the arguments used by unbelievers. I know because I've witnessed to many of them in years past. That's why when 'believers' start using these kinds of arguments against me I have no choice but to put them on my 'consider them to be an unbeliever' list until they prove to me by some kind of contrition that they really are believers.

What if your job includes exercise? What if I am a carver by profession? Beef coming through! Or maybe ham since its Christmas time, or is eating ham a sin? Do not want to offend any hebrewrooters here :D

Do you know what the Bible says on how to have the joy of God? Show me you do. Then tell me if watching 'Game of Thrones' is how God says you do that.
