Heaven and hell aren't the same place, but on earth we can chose to think only of ourselves or we can worship God and feed others.

The law is not an iceberg.,,it's a pick ax that can be used to climb a mountain or kill a sheep.
AMEN....sin is no longer an issue in the believer....the old man is considered DEAD in SIN and BURIED with Christ....ALL of the sins I would EVER commit were nailed to the cross in CHRIST the day I believed (as far as the condemnation of the law is concerned) after SALVATION (BIBLICALLY by FAITH and GRACE void of HUMAN EFFORT OR WORKS of righteousness) We are dealt with as SONS and Daughters instead of as a lost man or woman......GOD then CHASTENS US as dear children instead of CASTING US AWAY with the LOST....plain as day......just like the opening salvo on this thread....PLAIN AS DAY!

Some folks don't lump others into a box and blurr their doctrines with others. They actually get to know individuals and are not paranoid enough to think they that anyone who disagrees with them is a sock puppet.

I cannot agree with you or disagree because it is too unspecific and you could mean
something different than I expect.
God was very clear about sin and breaking His commandments. It is why he gave
500+. Now always you come back to "perfectly keep them 24/7". You need to talk
about a real example.
And you want to project onto me feelings as if feelings are not part of your life as well.
Paul talked about his conscience being clean, but only God really knew. So repeating
this same loop gets no where, unless you are clearer, but I suspect if you are, you know
it falls apart, so just have a feeling it makes sense, but cannot bring it into reality.
And when I talk about sin, I am talking about real sin, as defined by the Father and Jesus.
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Ariel - Are you prepared to admit sin are actions driven by desires from the heart?
If you remove the desires, you remove the actions or sinful behaviour.
The law just points out the sinful acts, it says nothing about the desires and how
to resolve them. Killing a lamb is an external event, which does not change your
heart unless you let it.
Well, dear, it makes one wonder when they say "grace does everything" & "Jesus takes care of everything", & "no work by us" now, doesn't it?
Of course and then say I said we can live like the "debil" Bobby Bouche ............

Do we need to confess our sins?
I have a temper and God is helping me to be more loving and patient and less judgement. Sometimes I sin in that manner because I speak words in haste and don't pray as often as I should.
Currently that is the issue God is helping me work through and paying attention to when God wants me to speak about Him to strangers and family (witnessing), learning to have faith and courage to do what He asks me daily and not being so self focused and selfish.

This is Perfectly illustrated in John 13.10-11

Yeah it does. The circle talking and redefining words gets confusing.
.reason why I don't engage everyone all the time.
Don't know if I just don't get what some are saying or they arent saying what I hope they will say.
Half tHe truth is always a dangerous thing. Even more than a flat out lie.
Here is a difference of understanding about sin and life.
If you think Christ removed the debt for sin, and you just need to say Jesus is God to be
saved, it makes sense, except it is meaningless.
Sin is caused by us not flowing with the love God provides in everything He communes
with. We are born with a lot of love and a potential, born into a world with hope, but
doomed to sin, because we do not know God. Our hearts and love will dry up and die.
So we need Gods love, we need to know we are loved and accepted, forgiven and
welcomed home. And as people purified and cleansed we walk in the ways of God, because
His life flows through us. Sin is no longer an issue because we love and walk righteously.
This is so foreign to most they cannot believe it is possible let alone a reality, for them it is
daily condemnation, repentance and knowing acceptance despite failure.
You will never say who does the circle talking because you don't think any of them do.
This sounds like useless fluff to me.

Not bothered by sin means that sin doesn't control you, you aren't scared of going to hell because you know how much God loves you.
You aren't your past mistakes, you are the person God is making you to become.
God chastens you when you feed your flesh and indulge in who you used to be instead of cutting out the tunores and learning to live a new life in Him.
Why is that so hard to grasp?
Sometimes I think it's semantics and sometimes I wonder if some folks are never chastened and aren't true kids of God?
Only God really knows who are His kids.
