Jesus, you know, the one you say you're a disciple of.
John wrote about Him in his gospel. John was with Jesus.
Paul asked around and spoke to the apostles and to witnesses for 3 years before putting together his thesis, but JOHN was WITH Jesus, and JESUS WAS JESUS. So, I don't want to get into the Pauline controversy, but I'm willing if you are.

Allen.....it is not about partners or who we like and or dislike....it is about the eternal gospel and biblical salvation bro....there is not 37 different gospels that lead to Christ as I am sure you are aware of.....I honestly do not believe I have ever seen your stance....what do you believe about biblical salvation bro?

Awesome message. The idea of atonement that I heard was exactly what you have described. It just never sat right with me even as a babe in Christ, but it did create a dark cloud over my heart concerning my Abba and kept me from knowing him as he knows me. I actually agree that Jesus friends follows His commandments because they are Mature and rooted in Christ.

What you seem to have trouble with is how God teaches His children and how babes in Christ are still His Kids.

God chastens and teaches His Kids to obey.., it doesn't happen automatically.

I think the consequences are staggering.

It's just that I hate to talk about hell, like some on this thread do. (not you).

WE ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW GOD'S COMMANDMENTS.

How WELL we follow them is a different discussion.
What is Jesus for anyway??

We cannot give excuses to people.
One could be a baby in Christ, but he still has to obey Him the best that he could.
And that's for God to know, not us...

I think I did answer your question.
I showed you that WE ARE ABSOLUTELY to follow God's Laws.

No IFs ANDs OR BUTs.

The bolded above Fran is ignorant.....JESUS preached the words of Jesus, was taught by direct revelation and preached the words that the disciples were not ready to bear.....Jesus was also born, lived and died under the LAW which ratified the NEW COVENANT that PAUL speaks to.

What a cop out from you and exactly why it is hard to engage you!

And yet you DON'T. You are a liar and you bear false witness against others and that breaks the commands you now claim we are to follow. So are you a sinner or not?
