He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.

HAS-verb

Believe in JESUS<---YOU currently HAVE everlasting life.......NO WORKS HERE, but rather BELIEF!

GM DC! :)
I would rather have "believe on" be defined in more depth. I guess because...I have truly had no struggle since I met Him other than that "believe on" and my own hypocrisies regarding it.

Amen! Notice that this BELIEF is not in ourselves, getting baptized, church attendance, or any other type of good work. Notice also that this BELIEF is not in Jesus Christ "plus something else," otherwise the BELIEF (trust, reliance) would not be "ON THE SON".

To believe in something daily is a works no matter how much one tries to avoid the obvious...

To Do the works of the lord daily is living accordingly to the belief that God inspires us to to have.

Why should i bee seen a villian for this That works of faith are a direct result of your soul continuing to receive salvation...

To disrespect the holy sacrements is also the reason why so many dont attend christian gatherings in church..

Belief (faith, trust) is not a work JIMBO, just like thinking is not a work. Doing the work of the Lord does not make you a villain. But belief and work do not equal salvation.
That is your stance, and that is why you may be perceived a certain way, because what you say about salvation (something we as believers all have and rely on for our eternal survival) is incorrect.

well i mean that many churches have closed down in england. :(

Ans aslo many people think that its only catholics that do sacrements..... its not because catholics are christian..

So do you believe in Transubstantiation?

For the 5 hudreth time works and faith are a fruit of belief.... without belief the stallion may as well be dead..

And without belief faith and works do not come..

Its is both works and faith that is a daily fruit of an ongoing daily process of the soul continuing to recieve salvation..

Ie once saved and once saved again..
