Their canibals. Big crocs will eat baby crocs.

Did you see the nature documentary where baby great white sharks eat their siblings inside their mom?

Every law maker, civil servant, judge, policeman knows the system works because of laws.
It defines where everyone is, and everyone is treated equally and as far as possible fairly.

English common law is used around the world and has stood the test of time of centuries

Now the Kingdom of heaven is no different. It has rules, precepts, ways of being. God is
so bound by rules and warnings He goes out of His way to warn His people.

Christ emphasised he did not come to do away with the law but to fulfil it.
Paul emphasised though the ceremonial, dietry, temple rules have gone, the moral rules
still stand true. And rather than being under them, in Christ we fulfill them by Gods
Spirit giving us a heart full of love and desire to walk in His ways.

Now to say this God no longer cares about sin, or rules, or behaviour, is nuts.
We are called to be the righteous pure, holy people of God. And the reason why people
kick so hard against it, because they have to face some tough realities and do some
tough things. These are the hardest things any human has to do. And it is almost
impossible.

But this one point is everything. The dividing line between the Kingdom of light and that
of darkness. There are no compromises here. Get right with God or He will get right with you.

So lawlessness, the absence of law, is the world of the anti-Christ. The evil one who will appear
in the last days is the lawless one, who follows no boundaries or limits and delights in breaking them
all.

For me it is strange that these very truths are the ones they attack, no a little, but totally.

Did Jesus say love your enemies?


Luke 6:27-36New International Version (NIV)

32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Salvation is accdg to God's grace & mercy(eph 2:8-9, titus 3:5) thru faith that worketh in love(gal 5:6, 1john 4:8&16) and not by FAITH ALONE. It is not of ourselves but it is the WORK of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the body of Christ(the Church) who does His WORKS OF SALVATION HERE ON EARTH.
 
so i get the faith part being real.. however for some people they have a hard time with faith unless they see with there own eyes they will not believe.

so faith is like a mustard seed it can grow... now the reality is if they all grew the world would be dominated by mustard trees which its not ...

so ther for faith is a seed that gets planted that blossoms sooner rather than later for some but not all...

Jesus said that IF you had faith the size of a mustard seed you could...

a. Say to this mountain and....
b. Say to this tree and....

etc.....

Funny thing....I see no "mountains or trees being ripped up and moved"......so....what does that say about faith right now?

Ariel - spiritual discernment, not good, compromise very high, almost on any terms.

Let me tell you a simple story. Someone I knew said they wanted to find where Himmler
was buried, because they admired them.

Now my wife spent two years with first hand testimony, records, interviews, pictures,
reconstructions from the holocaust. Now I thought it was bad before this. Cannibals were
tame compared to the Nazi's. No honour, no understanding, no compassion, no perception,
pure evil which defied normal human experience.

I never spoke to this person again. Millions died because of Himmler, to honour him to any
degree at any level, was to become untouchable.

There is real evil in this world, and not that far away. People will give themselves over to it
for a little bit of peace, because they say it is not that bad, and just a little reinterpretation.

If you play games with the fundamentals, you are lost. And if you do this with eyes open,
there is no excuse, or anyway back. I know the emotional prison these guys are in, and
for them it is this compromise or death. In truth they would go to hell rather than change,
but naive people think it is just a minor issue, they will come round.

Jesus said this about the teachers of the law

If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.
John 15:21-23

Guys who say their sin is already forgiven deny they have any guilt at all.
 
Pride. Folks have little faith because they think they are entitled to things they are not. They don't realize when they do what is expected (keep the whole law perfectly), Jesus calls them unprofitable servants.

The following statement is illogical:

Jesus says our sins are forgiven and paid for BY THE CROSS. That has ALREADY HAPPENED.

To call it a SIN is to ADMIT GUILT.
