Justification is totally a work of God.
Sanctification, which is a daily walk, is a cooperation between us and God.
The Holy Spirit helps us to do the will of God.

What some do not seem to understand is that there are two different words used to describe God's work in us.

Otherwise, if Everything depended only on God working, there would have been only One word used!

I fixed it for you.........notice the PAST TENSE of sanctified and PERFECTED.....

New American Standard Bible
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.
King James Bible
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Why do persons on this forum not post book, chapter and verse?
Please explain the difference between justification and sanctification?

Justified-->a legal term, rendered innocent even in light of overwhelming evidence of guilt
Sanctified is dual in application.

The one referenced is positionally in Christ as SET APART

and NO one disputes our daily lives and the sanctification that comes through following the word, being obedient and confessing sin

The scripture is found in Hebrews.......you do have google right

Your post here makes not a lick of sense. If you KNOW he's not a nazi, then why even call him one? He could compare you to a nazi, but he hasn't..

It just seems some here don't understand it.
Check out post no. 4514. It seems like both expressions mean the same thing from that explanation.
It's essential to understand the difference and that we must participate in sanctification.

God will justify us, but He will not also do all the work of sanctifying us. This is not to be confused with the finished work of Jesus.

Not hardly Fran.....the spirit is sanctified positionally in Christ eternally

The flesh and our walk needs daily sanctification....

it is not that hard to grasp unless one is not saved or refuses to acknowledge the truth
