He remembers I'm made from dust and doesn't deal with me according to my iniquity. In fact he has removed my sin as far as the East is from the West and is slow to anger and abounding in mercy.

I just don't get it.
I have 4 kids, I love them deeply.
I would be devastated If ever they thought I was going to beat them if they upset me and felt they could not come to me and talk about it.
Yes I would be upset but I would talk to them about it.
I have harvested with them that no matter what they do, think feel or struggle with then they can come to me and talk about it.
That they do and I'm thankful that they do and God has led me to be like this.
That is what our Father is like. If we don't get that then that can stop us coming before God.

I think works is showing to people we are Christian. We just do the works because we love God and want to obey Him. Thank you Jesus for saving me I want to love others because You loved me. So i will show love. You dont say i am going to love to gain my place in heaven thats not possible only JESUS CHRIST DID IT BECAUSE HES GOD AND SINNLESS. we cannot die for our selves only GOD JESUS CHRIST CAN DIE FOR US BECAUSE THEIR HOLY AND SINNLESS <333333333 I just get confused or worried i am doing works for salvation. If i am wrong please help me. just remember when someone says thank you you say ITS ALL JESUS HE GETS THE GLORY NOT ME I AM DUST. No your good....faith alone saves and = being born again of the spirit, after a period of growth and maturity we produce fruit/works as a result of salvation and faith that we already possess....even one piece of fruit is bearing fruit!

Its not a work as such but just being like Jesus.
Just allow the Holy Spirit to conform you to the image of Christ. Don't take it into your own hands.

Off the cuff....what he means is
a. Faith, hope and LOVE are all spiritual gifts and from God
b. The ability to biblically love is from God and Christ through us

Ahab was a lost King yet God still chastened him. Nineveh was threatened with judgement,
yet they repented and judgement did not come then.
God chastens everyone, for He is the Lord of all. His purposes are on a civilisation basis,
not just individuals or groups.
And God kills people, drop down dead type of rebukes.
And I do not know the level, but it is not to be thought of idly.

Yes sir, I am. Only because it is written that way. It also falls in line with verse 8, and in James who talks about faith without works being dead.
Notice if you will how one believes unto righteousness but not to their salvation. How is that possible? I thought when we are made righteous, we are born again. Not so. There is a difference between being righteous and justified. Those who follow the law can be righteous, but still are not born again. So they can be righteous or in right standing, but they cannot be justified before God. Justification is reserved only for the born again children of God through Jesus' blood.
I should add however, that confessing is not the only action we can take that would cause our faith to move in a situation and bear fruit. The bible is full of physical acts that corresponded with their confession of faith. Abraham is a classic example. He believed God would raise his son from the dead if he sacrificed him, because he had God's word that Isaac was the one through whom Abraham would be a father of many nations. We know this not only because the writer of Hebrews says so, but in Gen 22:5 Abraham tells the young men that he and the lad are going to worship "and come again to you." He spoke his faith right there.
Faith in Christ to be your personal savior is indeed enough to save us. However, faith without a corresponding action is simply believing, and we are not saved by believing that Jesus is our savior.
Understand if you can, that the works I speak of, are not the same as good works. That would be like calling Jesus' work of raising Lazarus from the dead a good work or good deed. It was not, and neither is the kind of work I am talking about. They are works of faith not good works, which is of the law. Works of faith cause God to move on your behalf, where good works or works of the law anyone can do without God's help.
It also has nothing to do with earning our salvation or righteousness.
Let me give you one example of faith.
Let's just say you start to feel a sore throat coming on, with a headache, and a stuffed up nose. And someone comes along as says, "you don't look so well", and believing the symptoms to that of a cold you say, "yeah, I think I'm coming down with a cold."
How is that faith you might ask?
You believed in your heart that it was a cold based on your symptoms and spoke it out of your mouth.
You spoke what you believed in your heart. That is what the bible refers to as a work of faith or a word of faith in the negative.
Haven't you read that both "death and life is in the power of the tongue?" It's not in the thought, intents, mind, imagination, beliefs,... or anything else other than the tongue. And to use the tongue is do a work. I already showed how Jesus called His healings and casting out unclean spirits, works. Of which were done simply by speaking faith words.
What about the below verses?
Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth [or causes it to manifest in the natural] that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth [or causes it to manifest in the natural] that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
No sir, it not just in Romans, but all through the bible. I can show you multiple places in both the old and new testament that talks about people of God confessing their faith.
If they have a mouth to eat with, they can mouth the same thing they believe in their heart. You don't have to give voice to anything, you just have to act on what you believe. And you are familiar with sign language, yes?
Again, it is not about doing good works to earn our salvation. We are already born again. Neither is it about being good enough to keep our salvation through the same good works, because after all, we earned it.
I am truly amazed that you people can't see this after after all the posts we wrote on this very subject.
You are correct in one thing you said though, of which I corrected you on once before. Believing and confessing what you believe are not two separate steps to salvation, but are chronologically together.

Yes, those who call on the name of Jesus WHEN THEY BELIEVE IN THEIR HEART, are saved at that moment. The calling out was not just proof of their faith but it caused their faith to manifest.

His mouth caused what he believed in his heart to come forth or to manifest itself. Had he not spoken what he believed and/or acted on it in some way, it would not come forth. This is the law of faith.
That's not what I was implying. Living faith is living faith and dead faith is dead faith and good works are produced from a living faith and not a dead faith.
